versa screen is gray and gets hot when charging

My fitbit versa was having trouble syncing so I deleted it from my phone and am trying to reconnect it. I have tried charging it but all I am getting is a grayish colored screen and after about 20 minutes on the charger, my fitbit is  very hot. When I tried setting it up with my phone, it will find the device and will send the code to my fitbit but the code never shows up on the screen. I have only had this device for a couple of months and am very frustrated with this issue.

Please dont try yo charge it anymore and contact support. Use the Help link at the top of the forum
