Consider upgrading from my Charge 2 to either Ionic or Versa. From what I can find, the only difference is style and the fact that Ionic does not need to have your mobile device nearby if you go on a run. You get your messages anyway. Other than that, what seems to be the best? Any negatives to wither?

Hi @hausmedic4u I have both a versa and an ionic and I know that upgrading to either will be a big step up from the Charge 2 (which I also have!).
As you say the big difference is with GPS. With the ionic it has GPS built in so you don't need your phone with you to map a run. The versa uses the GPS on your phone so if mapping is important then you'll need to take your phone.
Another difference is that although both versa and ionic support fibit pay, in the Americas only the special edition supports fitbit pay on the versa. Outside the Americas both versions of the versa have it. You also get an extra woven band with the versa special edition that's not available on the ionic (at least not from fitbit)
They do look quite different with the versa being smaller and better for people with small wrists but looks are subjective so which you prefer will vary from person to person.
The final difference is price. The ionic is much more expensive. If having inbuilt GPS is a must then the extra cost might be justifiable but if not then this difference alone would lead me to recommend the versa.
