wanting feedback on Versa 4.1.1 firmware update before I install it.

Versa (not versa lite or versa 2)

If you have installed firmware update 4.1.1 on your versa has it caused any problems? I've tried searching the forum, but can find nothing about versa, only the lite and 2.  There have been so many problems with firmware updates on the versa that I'm leery to install

This is one if the major issues with this firmware.

Do a search for this firmware update and you will see the issues that were brought up and continue to be posted regarding this update.

I opted not to do it since my Versa is out of warranty andd if this firmware update causes my Versa to be bricked or loose it's functionality, the only option Fitbit is providing is 25% off a new device.  My Versa is working fine and I really don't care about the enhancements if it causes my Versa to not work.

Weigh your options and contact Fitbit support if you're still under warranty to see what they will do for you if you decide to do the update and you have issues.

Thank you. Mine is out of warranty as well and works fine including finally syncing with my phone constantly. I'm quite hesitate to install having not been able to use it for more months and than I've been able to.

There were users who had no issues but for the users that did have issues they were major.  Bricked devices, syncing issues, major battery drain especially if the device was turned off, having to use multiple buttons to turn on the device instead of the one, taking a long time to turn on, etc.  

New posts in the forum continue with the battery drainage.
