I was given my first fitbit versa in April 2018, and it was purchased at Best Buy. In September of 2018 my fitbit stop working, and I returned it to Best Buy and they gave me another one. Thank goodness for warranties. Now this September 2019 I returned another one to Best Buy and they ordered me new one. One thing came out of this every time I took one back I received an updated version of the versa. But my question is how long should I expect the versa to last in general? And I was advised by Best Buy that I could no longer get a warranty through them, and why is that?

Hi, @Calandratl , I have had a Versa since it first came out, and it is still going with no issues. I also have several friends with Versas, and none of them have issues.
However, as I am sure you are aware, all rechargeable batteries have a limited life. You can get the longest life out of any modern lithium battery (such as in Fitbits) by always avoiding deep discharges, wherever possible. Ideally keep your battery between about 20-80%. If you want the longest life for your Versa, or any Fitbit, little and often charging is the key - maybe during your morning shower, or while you are getting ready for work - that will give your wrist a littlerest and mean your Fitbit is always ready.
As for why Best Buy won’t further honour your warranty, you will need to ask them.
