Coach chats disappear

Coach chat not working. You ask a question and the answer pops up and disappears straight away…..

Try deleting the app on your phone, Not all of the stored data, just the app (it will ask you) and then reinstall it, that should get it working for you!  Good luck 😊

I've had this issue too. It seems to be when you're starting a chat directly with the coach button rather than engaging one of the tabs or whatever you want to call them. Those chats don't seem to disappear. It's a real pain, but if you want to talk to the coach and keep the chat, engage in one of the insights or cards or whatever they're calling them. Even if the chat isn't related to it, it's still seems to keep track of it. This is the only workaround I found.   I was getting very annoyed with this because I'd be in the middle of a conversation. Have to go back to the main app to get some further information to continue the conversation and then try to come back in and wonder where my chat went.

Thank you, I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling and now I have no issue at all! 🙂

Hi there, thanks for your suggestion, on an iPhone you either can delete from Home Screen or delete app which removes all data.

I did former but issue persists.

Deleting from your iPhone will not remove all of your data, it will still be there when you reinstall

Fitbit App version 4.66.1 (or higher) If you have Fitbit app version 4.66 (or lower), manually update to Fitbit app version to 4.66.1 (or higher) by visiting the the App Store.

Please confirm that you've tried to Uninstall and then re-install the Fitbit App.

I've had this problem again last night.  I spent 5-10 min in the fitness section under adjust work out chat adjusting and rescheduling a workout and when it was final done and acknowledged I went out to check and no change.  I went back to the chat and nothing.  It acknowledged we just had a conversation but vague about the content.  I asked that it implement the instructions for the details of our last conversation to be implemented but although it seemed to have the high level idea of the conversation all the details were gone.  

At this point I think I'm done with this.  The frustration and lack of progress is not offset by the benefits.

Also I did uninstall and reinstall both times it came back with the following version I had to leave out the version number as it would not let me post for some reason 

version 4.65.fitbit-mobile-

so maybe a better rollout need to be done.  I had to leave out a dash to post
