The app was generating weekly plans every week but didn't generate one this week. I've been trying since Monday without success, I tried prompting the AI in several different ways to create a new plan and it tells me that it should be ready in 10 minutes, then nothing. Or that it doesn't have the power to trigger a plan being generated. I also tried restarting and refreshing the app, no success. I also tried submitting feedback on the app several times but I haven't heard back, and nothing was fixed.

Best AnswerIf it helps, I think that the issue is that they are rolling out the new workout plan experience. I got it last week and things are working now, although the plan is functionally quite a bit different. Instead of a specific plan on each day, I'm getting a list of activities to complete each week. The routines now are actual plans that include timed cool downs, etc. So, they didn't communicate it well, but the initial Preview functionality is going away and that probably broke it for all of us while we waited for the update, and I'd guess it hasn't rolled out to you yet.
Hello @Mashmooch
Thank you for reporting the issue, here and via the Feedback option in the app. I believe the team is aware of the issue with the weekly plan and has been working on the problem. Most likely, the fix will be in an app update.
Just to let you know that even though you don't get a response, the team confirmed that they read every single report and categorize the reports into issue buckets for further investigation.

Same here. No workout plan this week. Very frustrating.
Hi @RiekoC , it's been over a month and the issue still persists. In addition to the new comments on this thread, there are more new comments on this thread about the same issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Personal-Health-Coach-Public-Preview/No-New-Weekly-Plan/m-p/5822087#.... It's especially frustrating as this is the Fitbit feature I use the most, and it is not a free or cheap subscription either so I am not getting the value of the cost of the subscription
Hello @Mashmooch
I'm not sure why it's taking so long to fix this issue. We haven't seen any timeline for the fix. As soon as I learn of any updates on this issue, I'll report back.

Same here - very frustrating to have spent a lot of time creating a workout plan, only to have this lost at the end of the week. I get the message from the AI coach "I can't access your workout plan right now. Please try again later..."
Okay I can't my post but try this (it was an update on my other post) It appears to be a workaround for now.
Nothings being generated or altered. But it did give me a printout
had to start every message with 'do not access the plan right now' and two line breaks before continuing the message or it would give an error. So to get that days plan say:
Do not access the plan right now
I need to know what today's workout are as I can't see them.
Can you give me a list of what were doing today and how many sets/reps if any?
it's been 3 weeks for me amd it is frustrating after things were going so smoothly. Most of the other info is available 1on the previous version and this was an amazing addition to the app and one I used every day. Really hope it gets fixed soon otherwise I might as well go back to the other available version.
Amazingly this complicated workaround worked! How bizare!
Come on Fitbit, sort out the problem!
As of today I also can't view my weekly plan in the fitness tab. If I ask the coach, "Can you show me my workout plan for the week?" it will show me a summary of my week ahead in the chat. I can't view it anywhere else. Very frustrating.
Yes, having the same issue now the last two weeks. Had a separate post about it last week. I tried leaving the plan and setting up a new one. I got the message that it would take as few minutes to set up the plan and check back. That was two days ago. Oddly, this week the Coach seems to know the plan and I'm not getting the message about being unable to access the plan.
I’ve run into the same issue.
I’m using the latest Pixel Pro model.
I created a detailed strength-training plan using an external AI LLM, then fed it to the Fitbit AI coach as a prompt.
In March, the Fitbit AI feature was giving me daily workouts with exercise videos, which was genuinely useful.
At some point, it stopped generating the daily workouts.
I tried to “leave the program” and deleted all the AI memory notes about me so I could start fresh.
That seemed to work briefly. Last weekend, I started getting workouts again.
Then it stopped again. I no longer get the daily workouts, demo videos, or the useful exercise/set/rep/weight logging widget.
Even after clearing the Fitbit AI memory several times, it still seems to remember details about my fitness goals from conversations back in March.
I prompted the AI Preview again today with my workout plan.
The “Today” tab in the Fitbit Premium app now says my new “workout plan is on the way,” but I’m not convinced.
The workout plan still shows “no plan set” for this week or next.
This just happened to me today. Nothing I try seems to be working.
I rely on this app to work as I don't have a lot of time in my day to workout, but I always make time.
I need the app to be ready to go when I need it.
I guess I will keep trying.

I think that you are right. I just cleared cache & storage, left the public preview, clicked around in the old app, then rejoined the public preview and it appears that there are some new things as well as my plan is back. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions here. Tried the cache clear and click around but that didn't work for me. So frustrating. How is Google getting away with calling this 6+ month preview a "preview". Clearly no investment is being put into this software while Google collects money from all of us while we beg and wait for a solution. The AI is just so bad. Remember when this guiding principle was "don't be evil".
For me everything resolved itself by waiting, which is frustrating but good to know for others I guess 🙂
