I have had a choice on my Fitbit phone app for over a week to switch to Public Preview. That shows my sleep, as recorded by the Fitbit (Sense2), and a few of the other basic measurements. Somewhere on that app alternative I read about the many things that aren't on the Public Preview, so even though a number of them don't interest me, I switch back to the regular app.
So far, what I see as the main "advantage" of the new app is that it gives a wordy AI description of my sleep and also how I don't work out enough. [Hey, my walking is somewhat disabled, so no, I don't get any aerobic walking.]
BTW, my sleep has been recorded pretty accurately lately. But as others stated, if i have a long awake time in the night, or get up early and go back to bed, the total is either off, or I can add the time, but not the details.

I'm finding it's at least pretty good for helping start a good exercise routine. I started by chatting about my lifestyle and goals, and it has set up a great beginner (w/ chronic illness) routine for me. I don't go to the gym and know very little about strength training, and it is guiding me in a way that is working so far. I'm only a few days in, but I can see how this could be helpful. Especially as they add more features and abilities.
