Hello,
I cannot work out how to simply add to a topic. So:
Can the new app consider some form of ‘pause’ function to ensure that when users are ill/injured or whatever there is a means for the app to take this in to account and for the user to neither feel badgered by the app to ‘get moving’ when they need to take it easy or their general fitness to feel compromised when they need to recover for good reason.
The inconsistency in the Readiness Score has been an issue since Day 1. Please do what you can to ensure that it actually produces a score each day (assuming the device has been worn of course) and that it appears early in the day. The carryover of the prior day’s score or no score at all has frustrated many users for years (see historic legacy community trails).
Cheers

If you have a Premium subscription and access to the AI Coach, you can tell the Coach that you are ill/injured and it will adjust its recommendations. This worked for me when I was in a walking boot.
I'm not sure what's going on with the Readiness score algorithm for those having the kind of issues that you are describing. Have you reported the issue using the Feedback feature in the Fitbit app? Although it's likely that you won't receive a response from your feedback report, we've gotten confirmation that the team reviews every feedback report and uses the information for issue investigation.

Best AnswerThanks Rieko. I am not a Premium user so not aware of that feature. Am I right in thinking that the switch to Google means that no Premium going forward? Presumably there will be a subscription version for the new version at some stage. Not a fan of paying extra though!

There will still be a Premium subscription for the Google Health app. That's what I have.
I'm not sure exactly how the non-subscription Health app will work in regard to injuries/illness. One of the changes in the updated app is that Cardio Load is a weekly goal. So, that help accommodate for lighter days.
We'll have a better idea starting tomorrow when the transition rolls out.
