The Public preview release's Coach AI is recommending the purchase of a third-party app for food logs.

Nutrition important factor in general health.

I am questioning the value of $80 dollars for Fitbit premium.

The Public Preview is a work in progress. The team already knows there are features that aren't currently available. That's why the team made it easy to switch back and forth between the 2 app versions. 

As far as we've seen, tracking food logs will be eventually added to the new app.
