In the new preview mode, I have to search for current weight. I would prefer seeing today's weight on the dashboard. Is there a way to change this? Also, it seems to take a long time (hours) before my weight from my Aria scale shows up on the dashboard. Frustrating!

It looks like weight is not one of the things that can be displayed on the main screen, at least right now. Cardio load is mandatory (can't remove that one), and the options for the 3 customizable fields are: Steps, Exercise Days, AZM, Distance, Calories burned, Floors, Readiness, Sleep Score, and BPM (daily range).

Im guessing the dashboard will change a bit more. Probably add Cal in vs Cal out when nutrition is added.
They'll need to have a customize option, or the dash will be overloaded

Hello @JRzMom
The Public Preview app is still being developed. I expect that the Focus dashboard on the Today page will eventually include more customization options.
It appears to me that the Cardio Load will stay in place as a weekly goal focus. The 3 on the right look to me to be more of metrics that are monitored daily, with the exception of Work out days.
For now, please submit your suggestion using the Feedback option in the app:

Why is Cardio Load staying in place as a forced stat when soooooo many people have commented on how much they don't like it or find it useful (really, go look in the regular community, or in reddit. I'm sure there are plenty of other places that I don't personally use as well)? That spot should be customizable just like the rest.
Editing to add the link to the community post about cardio load, definitely worth reading:

Hello @amymurray122
I expressed my opinion based on what I see & interpret in the app. That doesn't necessarily mean that I'm right.
I've had the Cardio Load feature ever since it was released for the Pixel Watch 3 and am well aware of how some users feel about this metric. I do agree that the daily Cardio Load Target range can often be way too confusing & frustrating. Personally, I prefer having Cardio Load as a weekly goal rather than a daily goal. The weekly goal gives me more flexibility on which days I workout and rest, rather than be dictated by a daily target range. FWIW, I haven't seen the same level of Cardio Load complaints from Public Preview users.
In my opinion, I think that Fitbit will continue to promote Cardio Load as a main goal & metric. Whether or not the Public Preview will eventually allow editing the Cardio Load spot will be up to the developers.

I get a message everyday saying that I'm at risk of overtraining and injury because I met my "goal" in the first half day of the week, simply because my heart rate is faster than average and it sees me even sitting up in bed as earning cardio points. I've already earned 14 points today, and I haven't even gotten out of bed yet. It's a fine stat for some people, I'm sure, but there are enough people out there that it's not great for that it should absolutely be optional.

I actually have been looking for the "Weight" tile too and found that it's currently not supported in the Public Preview. That doesn't mean that it won't be supported. More information can be found here .
For me. I had to switch back to the current app that's not part of the Public Preview to log my weight this morning.

@DramaQueenDiva weight data can be found in the Health tab of the Public Preview. Scroll down to "Weight & body" and select that. Tap "Weight" to view your data and "+" to add your current weight.

To expand on what alexthecat said, another way to do it is to click on the Ask Coach button in the corner of the Today tab and tap log in there. It'll ask you what you're wanting to log, just tap on weight, and it should let you. There have been a couple times where I've had to do this two or three times before it actually saves, which isn't ideal, but it eventually gets there. This is the only way that I've had any success logging weight in the new layout.

I get that, but I wanted to see it on the Today screen. They must have made changes because it is there now. Also, my Aria scale suddenly started connecting to Fitbit again. Maybe my feedback note helped? I'm good now!
