1 Hour Heart Rate Graph on Charge 3

One thing I love about my Garmin Vivosport, is that you can tap the heart rate icon and it will show a graph of your heart rate for the previous hour.  It is a wonderful way to quickly look back on the previous hour without having to open the app.  Garmin's UI is a little bit different from Fitbit in terms of accessing info on the watch so on the Charge 3 I'd suggest creating a "Heart Rate" app (as Fitbit refers to the settings icon, weather icon, alarm icon etc. as apps).  It could just show your current real time heart rate when you open the app and if you tap on the screen pull up a graph of the past hour.  Just an idea.  It's a feature I have always loved (and used on a daily basis) with my Garmin.

Thanks for sharing your idea with everyone @JonDavidL.

I'm sure that other users would appreciate being able to have a small HR graph accessible on their Fitbit device.

Let's see what other users think.

Dante:Hi Betty , My name is Dante. How can I help you?
Me:Would like to know if I can change the resting heart rate on here to current heart rate
Me:Thats on the tils on here
Dante:I will be glad to assist you regarding your resting heart rate.
Dante:Just to confirm, you meant to change the information that it is showing on the Fit bit app into current heart rate instead of resting heart rate?
Me:Yes
Dante:Thank you for confirming this. May I confirm if you are looking into the app on the phone or through our online website ( https://www.fitbit.com/home )?
Me:Right now I'm on this fit bit,com site would like to see current on both
Me:that is on phone & on here
Dante:Thank you for letting me know.
Dante:I'd like to let you know though the tile will only show the resting heart rate, on either phone or web. And we currently have no option to show the current heart rate.
Dante:I would like to apologize for this inconvenience.
Dante:Though that said, I may suggest having this good idea sent to our ideas board for our product team to know: http://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/features
Me:This has occur only since last up date Fit bit had,Have had talks on the community & there are quite a few people with same problem
Dante:I appreciate your feedback regarding the new layout and the changes made on our system regarding the features.
Dante:Though we are unable to customize as to what type of heart rate it would show on the tile, I may suggest sending your idea on our ideas board.
Me:Many people in the community have been talking about it,This is a serious issue one none of us like
Dante:Thank you for letting me know and I would really like to apologize for this inconvenience.
Dante:Though you may be unable to see your current heart rate from the tile, you may always check your device's screen, or tap on the tile on the app to see your device's heart rate information and graph based from the last sync.
Me:Know it's not your fault but I myself will probably switch over to the Garmin or Apple
Me:I know I can do what you said but being on a treadmill & or rowing machine it was much better to just glance at the current rate
Dante:I really appreciate your understanding with this, and appreciate these feedback regarding the heart rate tile's feature.
Me:I'm very much interested in maintaining my cardio which is why I bought the charge 2 & then charge 3 for swimming ,This up date has been useless to me again not your fault but I do believe you will be losing people due to this problem ,Do they even really read what the community is saying about it
Dante:I'm glad to hear that you have been relying on the Fit bit devices regarding the maintenance of your cardio. I really appreciate your feedback with how this impacts your use and feel towards updates we release.
Dante:Though our moderators manage and communicate through the community, in terms of feature suggestions, having those sent on the link I gave earlier would be the best option as our product team directly reads all information posted there.
Me:okay thank you have copied & will paste to get to that web site have a good night
Dante:By the way, after our chat you will receive a brief survey. Any feedback you'd like to provide would be most appreciated, and will help us refine our support processes.
Dante:Aside from this, is there anything else I may assist you with in the meantime?
Me:No nothing thank you
Dante:I appreciate your time in chatting with me. To end this chat please go ahead and click "end chat".
