Ability to customize the stats/apps on Inspire series

There are several functions that I do not need or want and there is currently no way to turn them off. I would normally just ignore them but my FitBit has this annoying habit of just randomly switching to something it thinks I want, when I have done nothing. It's as bad as driving a car and when you stop at a light, the car decides you want to park so it opens the door for you. I want to control my screen, what it shows, and when it shows it. Currently I can do none of this.

Yes, I want to choose what stat is displayed under the clock. Having it be random is useless to me.

I also agree. How come I can't choose which stats I want to see and in which sequence?

Same goes for the clock faces by the way.

Yes please give me the ability to customize my watch face to only see the things that interest me.

I agree. I want to be able to change the order that the icons come up on the screen. I prefer a different order than they show currently.

Just wanted to bump this, I've just changed from the Charge 2 to the Inspire HR for the swim tracking and I'm shocked that customising the stats on the device is not already a feature, I thought it was pretty standard across devices.  It gets very irritating having to scroll through a bunch of stuff I don't want to see to get to the one I do.  The ability to reorder or remove the stats pages would be well received.

There are just too many options. And the hourly step goal is way to far down the list to be useful. It'd be nice to be able to control which information is useful for us and place them in priority at the very least.

Hey @csherwin! Nice suggestion, thanks for sharing. We look forward to hearing what other community members think.

Adding my 2 cents to the list - I just switched from the Alta HR to the Inspire HR, and I'm incredibly frustrated that functionality from my old tracker isn't available on the "new & improved" version. Very disappointing, especially given that this has been a known issue for 5-6 months and a fix has apparently not been pushed.

I agree with the comments here as I cannot believe that I cannot control the Inspire display as I was able to with my HR. A real flaw in design. I wish I had known this before I threw away the original box as I would return this thing.

Normal (small) clock on top. Current heart rate as value below and also a chart to see say, last hour average/max/low/track.

Question for the moderator- what is the status of this request/suggestion? There are several hundreds user comments asking for this (standard on other model Fitbit) feature to be added to the Inspire HR spanning back several months, and the continued response from Fitbit seems to be "nice idea, thanks for sharing"? It's not a novel idea; it's asking for a fairly simple feature offered on previous models to be enabled. When will this be resolved? Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your Feature Suggestion with the Fitbit Community @SvanteJ. We aren't sure what you mean by "Normal (small) clock on top" and we'd like to understand your idea better. Please reply with more detail or specifics on like, which clock face are you using? Do you have a Fitbit Inspire or Fitbit Inspire HR ? We have a clock face for Inspire HR called "Stats Heavy". It shows the time, date and the heart rate.

SvanteJ

Yes, the clock from "Stats Heavy" is the one I mean. Never put hour on top of minutes, that just does not make sense.

Below clock, heart rate only and chart as described, not just current value (that tells very little).

HR is for heart rate, right. That's the one I have.

Completely agree with this, please allow the stats to be customizable on the Inspire HR. I feel like I've downgraded from a Charge 2, when what I really wanted was a lighter, slimmer fitbit that would hopefully be just as customizable as my 2 year old tracker.

I really hope there's an update soon!

Same here. Changed from Alta HR to Inspire HR. Would love to skip a few items and rearrange the others on my tracker.

Come on FitBit, it is this community that makes you the company you are today! Surely you don't need that much time for an update like this which already is a feature on the other trackers! Thanks.

I would also like to have the feature to both select important statistics and order them.

Please add the options to customize.

This feature should be standard for all models. We should be able to change the order of the icons on the display so that the statistics that change all the time, like heart rate and the dots, are on top, and the statistics that only change once a day, like sleep, are at the bottom. We should be able to organize the statistics in a way that makes sense to us and not be locked in to the, let me be kind, "unusual logic" of the programmers.

having purchased my Alta HR last July from Best Buy and buying the Geek Squad protection I was able to receive the Inspire HR as a replacement. I was honestly extremely excited until going through the watch itself and not being able to adjust want I want to see. I don't want my weight, or even my woman health to show.

Someone else posted that they'd like to hide unused apps on the tracker. I upvoted that suggestion, but I'd also like to suggest the ability to custom sort the apps, so the apps that are most important to me are at the top and I don't have to scroll as far.

Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has a lot of votes. As the more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

Of course these posts are getting a lot of votes! You took away a popular feature when you brought out the Inspire and Inspire HR. Bring back this feature already!

Is there any chance that any of these comments are actually getting to
fitbit? It has been months since the concerns were raised and there has
been no specific feedback from fitbit about whether the suggestions made
here have even been noticed let alone put in the queue or prioritized for
revisions. Even a rationale for why they cannot be done has not been
provided? What is the point of the fitbit community if fitbit itself never
chimes in?
