Ability to customize the stats/apps on Inspire series

There are several functions that I do not need or want and there is currently no way to turn them off. I would normally just ignore them but my FitBit has this annoying habit of just randomly switching to something it thinks I want, when I have done nothing. It's as bad as driving a car and when you stop at a light, the car decides you want to park so it opens the door for you. I want to control my screen, what it shows, and when it shows it. Currently I can do none of this.

It'd be cool if the option to create/customize your own clock face by choosing what data is shown per line was available. A user could choose a face option that's already available (with set font, font size and lines) then choose the data they want shown for a drop down list and if they want to swipe for more data or not.

I'd like my clock face to show:

TI:ME

MO/DAY

HR (not able to swipe/change)

Thanks for giving us an easy place to make suggestions and feel heard!

@Sarah.AK   I think a few, or at least one, clock face by Fitbit lets you do that, though maybe not well-documented.  I remember one clock face that by tapping a stat field, it would go through a series of stats that you could leave as the display.

I absolutely agree with this suggestion. I just switched to the inspire hr from my alta HR and was extremely surprised there was no option for this feature. It was a nice customizable feature on my Alta to be able to pick and choose what items I wanted to see to make it easier and faster to scroll through the options. I don't want to have to scroll past water intake, resting heart rate, and my weight to get to the things I'm looking for. It would just be better if they weren't there. I hope they add this feature soon. I have no idea why they didn't think of that to begin with......

I absolutely agree and I'm extremely surprised that this is not already a feature. It's ridiculous that it is not customizable to be able to take off the features that you might not use as an individual user. us as a community having to make this suggestion is just stupid. Please Fix it quickly! Thanks.

I just got an Inspire HR and would be nice if you could remove those things from the actual device that you don't use which would save battery.  For me I would want to have the device show steps, distance, water, heart rate and battery level only removing things like weight, sleep, activity, calories, BPM while resting, exercise, relaxing, breathing and such.

Yes, agreed! I like to check my hourly steps first, and it's a pain to have to skip over multiple screens just to see that. Please let us remove what we don't need to see and arrange what we do!

For me the hourly steps are what I wish I could see first while in reality it's on the 7th swipe up.

Will customizing the order ever be implemented in the Inspire HR? I see that alot are asking for it, it's an easy update fix please do give it priority.

It's been very frustrating dealing with my new Fitbit inspire because of this issue. Nearly all of the options showing on my screen don't matter to me and swiping through them all is such a pain. I can't understand why they would take away features when this is supposed to be an upgrade. Reading the replies from Fitbit here is disheartening when they all basically say the same thing and no real answers are given. Please give us an update with the option to edit the icons on our display screens. If I have to deal with this for much longer I'll probably just sell this thing and find a different brand.

I have used a couple Fitbit devices for over 5 years.  I just bought the Inspire HR for my 80+ year-old mother because she wanted basic information like steps and sleep, and I was shocked to find that the display is not changeable.  This is a disappointing step backward.

I have spent over four hours working with her remotely to try to get her to see what she needs.  With all of the extra things on the unit, she keeps turning things on and getting into sub-menus that are not where she wants to be.  And because the documentation of how it works is so skimpy, it is hard for me to guide her.  If we could just turn off a lot of the items that are not needed that would help a lot.

I had also considered replacing my Charge 2 with the Inspire HR, but because it requires a Windows 10 computer or smart phone, I decided to stick with what I have, and am glad I did - I also don't use or want a lot of the features.  If we can’t get my mom’s Inspire simpler, it will be returned.

I too would like hourly steps one swipe away and not 7 or 8.

Hello!
I would like a clock-face on the Inspire HR that shows the time and my heart rate, and nothing else. Is that possible?

I used to own the Alta HR, and if I remember correctly, it did have a clock-face called 'simple heart rate' which did exactly what I wanted.

I can't find the option for the Inspire HR. Is it possible?

Allow user to customize their screen on the Inspire. I would prefer not to see my weight or calories on my screen.

Am I missing something? It seems like I should be able to do this.

We should be able to customize what stats are displayed on the display on the Inspire HR (like how you could on the Alta). I don't care about water, distance, sleep etc so it would be nice if we could only have what we want to see.

Dear fitbit and fitbit community.

I think it would be a great idea to give more freedom in the clock faces (for the inspire hr) (only device I own so I don't know the states of the other devices). Idealy you should be able to create your own clock face, however, I do understand this might be a big undertaking if there isn't any foundation already for it. My second suggestion would be just more clock faces. There are two that I would like:

- One that is sideways

- One with the hour/minute + date + heart rate( and/ or step count)

Thank you

Excellent idea.  Many of the apps are of no interest to me but I have to scroll through them to get to what I want to see.  It would be great if we could remove apps we don’t use as well as data displays that we aren’t interested in.

I second this! I do not care about tracking water intake or weight, and would like my period tracker to be above those stats.
