now its set up so that when i scroll right I get notifications and when i scroll left I get EDA scan, there should be the possibility to change the order in which they show up.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject and updated label
On my "to do" list for a week has been: really take a hot second and change order of Fitbit apps so I don't (a) lose a full 30 seconds of workout when I realize I forgot to start the timer, and (b) look like a total doofus in the gym while I stand there swiping over and over.
Today I sat down to address this issue and (surprise!) I actually CANNOT. Unreal.
Hoping the Google transition rectifies this issue.
Hi @Dabbinllama, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about having the option to organized f apps and stats on Charge 5. I've moved it into a similar request. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs. Click on the thumbs-up to show your support.
Thank you again for your participation in the Feature Suggestions Forums.
It’s just a little thing in the grand scheme of life, but a response would be nice. I’m sorry that I bought this charge 5, I miss the altimeter I had in the charge 3. Also the gps is not accurate. Same exact walk route registers a different distance on different days. Lesson learned.
I really thought Fitbit was a good company. But they should really close down this Forum. It's embarrassing to witness how Fitbit couldn't care less for their customers. As JE54 is saying: "it’s just a little thing in the grand scheme of life, but a response would be nice".
Just as many others I regret buying this faulty product and my feelings for Fitbit have decreased significantly. If at least Fitbit had the courage to tell why this feature isn't going to be made it would at least show a tiny bit of interest for their consumers.
Right now I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Fitbit removed the time from the front and never answered a question about it.
The fact that the exercise tracker is not able to show heart rate and pace at the same time is baffling.
My cheap Garmin from 10+ years ago could do it. I searched for 1-2 hours on the internet because I couldn't believe that the Charge 5 actually cannot do it. This has been designed by somehow who has never used it for running in their life.
This must be fixed. The FitBit is practically worthless without it.
Come on team. This was requested over a year ago. We know it’s bad, you know it’s bad. Just change it.
Can’t believe that whoever is maintaining the UI swipes left twice, briefly glancing at the useless notifications, as says to themselves: “This was a great design decision. I am so proud of my work”
Have to agree with above... C'mon Fitbit and Google, let's do better and let's be better. You may not ever give the feature but at least just own up to it and say it and the we can all move on with our lives (and over to Garmin, Apple, etc...).
Seriously, this is still a problem?? My wife and I just upgraded from Charge 2 to 5 and it never even occurred to us that this would be a problem. We DON'T WANT or NEED all this extra crap you threw on the device - just a few specific features. But now we have to scroll past a bunch of garbage.
We're probably going to return these and look at Garmin.
Another Google/Fitbit success story - nice job. I think of you every time I have to swipe by Notifications to get to the features I really use - like Exercise!
Google, Fitbit, Moderator - I realize this may not be possible or feasible. There might be some real constraints on memory or performance but at least just tell us that and then we can move on. The silence on your side is what's even more frustrating than not including this feature in the first place!
Please make my life simple. I had a Charge 2 and I could see date, time, daily steps, and heart rate and then, with one tap, hourly steps and total minutes. That is all I need. Anything else can come later or on the app. Somewhere in your archives, you must have that old code. Please bring it back.
Yes on this x100 - like..the one thing you would likely use every single day is the calorie burn / tracking on the workout. this is buried in the worst possible place in the menu - in the dead middle. You jump in spin class.. on the bike .. then remember to strart tracking the workout..takes twenty seconds to get it all done.
workout selection s/b first option and no idea why this would be limited to 5
Hello??? Is anyone out there? How is this not fixed already? It's been well over a year. Come on. I just don't understand how this was a feature on the charge 3 and yet can't be implemented on this one, after clear demand. Moderator - please update. It's not a good sign when customers wish they had an *older* version of a product. This is ridiculous.
I'd like to be able to delete and rearrange the apps on the charge 5 as well. It looks like this has a hefty amount of votes already. Can I just assume it's not going to happen?
