Able to log blood pressure in the Fitbit app

I'd love a place to log blood pressure in the Fitbit app to allow a single location to track most health metrics would be awesome! Especially now that I can track blood glucose there as well.

@LizzyFitbit doesn't this suggestion already exist?

Fitbit can work just as well with other apps as importing data, for example Viatom  & 1Byone   bode have also a App
ViATOM Oxygen Monitoring, SP-02 with app

1byone blood pressure monitor upper arm with bluetooth, upper arm blood pressure monitor

I have been annoyed for some time that Fitbit and others, so all games, are Competition.
Wouldn't it be great that we would switch from a brand after Fitbit and be able to import gifts. from the old app after fitbit.

Second Or Fitbit itself makes Good Calibrated meters
With this you can still measure everything, and send it to your doctor or hospital specialists. I myself am a CVA case Brainstrokes.

Third
Considering my Sense is rocking SPO2, Fitbitapp say installed. Sense it self say Not instlled, also afther X tal time resset restart, sync.

We can enter manually with the two products mentioned. is a good option if you refuse to import aps or develop something yourself.

@SunsetRunner check the list of installed apps on your Sense.

Is the SpO2 listed as installed? If not, it is easy to instal.*

*Only available in countries that have certified this function.

Now that Google owns Fitbit, this list is growing faster.

I came to the forum to make the same request! Rumor has it that Fitbit is working to include a BP monitoring/estimation feature, but in the meantime, it would be just terrific if we could add readings manually!  Please consider trading action on this - image the code is like 90% there now that the blood glucose feature is live.

Alternatively, you could FINALLY add app integration with your parent company's Google Fit, which allows manual taking, then allow that info to sync by apps!  That would be the ultimate!

Thanks for everything you do regardless, and for the constant, consistent improvements to this great line of products!  (But yeah, take a Friday afternoon to build this out and a ton and of people will love you for it.

Thanks again for your consideration!!!

I'm getting my first Fitbit because of cardiac issues. I would love to be able to log my BP around meals and exercise and such. It's such an important thing to track for many of us. We could log it like we do food.

Really would like blood glucose and blood pleasure to be imported from third party products since you do not have those products available. I understand it would not be possible to select every product but it would give us a chance with you having import data from a few. for example I use a Withings blood pressure unit and a contour flex glucose unit but I may be interested in purchasing a toy that you might select to support. It is so important to see all data in one place but your type of companies don't get it. you make everything proprietary and yet do not recognize that others have to make the products that you don't.

Agreed been asking this for years!!

It's kind of astounding that the watch does not do anything about blood pressure. At one time you could input the info manually but they took that  away.  Did it take up too much space? very curious.

In any event two things can be done today.

1) Re-add the ability to input the information manually

2) Team up with a current in market blood pressure monitor and sync the data.

And in the meantime, the fitbit engineers can be given some breathing room while we current users can put our health info in a central place.

@Dajjer the ability to manually log blood pressure was removes because only a very few amount of users where using this function. Judging by the 134 votes out of 29 million active users, that want the ability to log blood pressure. At 0.0005 people out of every 100 users**, barely nobody seems to now want this feature.

** 1 out of every 216,418 users.

So why doesn't fitbit have a watch that can read blood pressure?

  • Because it is impossible to read blood pressure whithout a Blood Pressure cuff
  • A Blood Pressure reading by the wrist is not very accurate,
  • Blood pressure needs to be taken on the upper arm.
  • The Sense is the only model that has the needed hardware to indirectly read blood pressure through PTT.. Even then the reading may be off by up to 10%
  • If they add BP to the Sense it will first need to be calibrated by the wearer. This calibration will require a real BP cuff.
  • Even if added Very few users of the sense will ever have the ability to read blood pressure.

I still believe that being able to log BP manually in the FitBit app would be useful and helpful.

I'd like to chime in with support for this. Being able to track/log all my health metrics in one place would be worth a subscription. Caloric intake, Weight, and glucose are fantastic. Blood pressure, vaccination records, and medications would make the app and associated hardware the source of truth for fitness & health.

I've been asking for this for a very long time...  FitBit does not seem interested in adding this feature/

This is a recent request, we have had other requests for this in the past. We even had more things that we could manually log but very few users used these features.

Blood pressure is a critical measure of overall health. It would be nice to have a way to manually enter blood pressure in the app for tracking

I would also like to manually enter BP and have a graphing progress screen like weight.

Add it along with logging water intake manually.

I would love to be able to manually log my BP because I'm concerned about it creeping up. I keep track of all my health data on the Fitbit app but there is nowhere to track BP.
