Can there please be a Fitbit Ace app developed for Wear OS so that parents can message a child's Fitbit Ace LTE watch from their Wear OS/Pixel Watch, and not use a smartphone.

I thought this is what we would be and to do with our kids when we bought them the Fitbit ace. Please accept this message as vote for this functionality!

Missed opportunity here, Google. Please invest in this feature and your ecosystem.
My son and I want our Dick Tracy watches to work as they should. Literally all the hardware functionality is there. I'm not sure why you need votes to prioritize this feature. I would imagine someone from product like Dieter Bohn would be aware that this is the type of delighter that makes a product ecosystem stand out. Apple watches have walkie talkie functionally, and we can't even tell if our kids are calling us???
I was just searching to see if this was available in the play store to add Fitbit Ace to my Google watch to find that I cannot. This feature really needs to be added. I love that my child has the ace so I can communicate with her but I just wish I could do it from my watch. I don't like keeping my phone in my hip pocket when I have a smart watch to eliminate that. Please add this in the next update.
Yes. This is needed. Both products are in the Google ecosystem. This should have been a no brainer. If you want utilization and product acceptance you have to have functionality across product lines. We can do this with other Fitbit watches and this should be no different.
I did notice that I can answer my son's calls from Fitbit Ace on my Pixel watch, I just can't call him or text him. So the street is at least partially paved in one direction, so shouldn't be impossible to finish up?
