I completely agree and echo all of these comments . I loved the feature when it was applicable, but it’s no longer applicable to me and many others. There’s SO many aspect of women’s wellness that you could have features for that are still relevant and applicable to all women, but it would be nice to turn of the menstruation feature.
and I also agree that we shouldn’t have to vote on this. Just do better fitbit! Be more conscious of the sensitivities that come with women’s varying needs and be more inclusive!
Why is it us women have to justify and vote about women issues that should be our right to decide if we want it or not. It’s degrading and demeaning to simply not have the option to delete a personal issue of a simple app of menstrual cycle. This clearly has to be a design feature decided by a man as no woman in her right mind would make it a permanent feature and to not have the option to delete on Fitbit luxe. Please fix this and stop asking for upvotes for your corporate justification. We are your customers not your employees. It should never have happened in the first place.
Agree 100% with everything you said, but especially the part about this feature being designed by a man. Now that Roe has been overturned and extremist run states will be using data collected by apps like this to help them prosecute women for suspected abortions, the presence of this feature on my watch and phone is even more repugnant and demeaning. Shame on you Fitbit!!!
I also want to remove the Menstrual tile on my Fitbit Charge 5. This is private information, and I don’t want to see it in my device. I don’t want anyone else to see it on my wrist either. It’s fine to keep in on the phone app though. After years of using the Charge 2 and Alta HR, which didn’t display this information on the device, I switched to the Charge 5 and was very frustrated to suddenly see this displayed and then find out it can’t be removed. Please be sensitive to your female user’s privacy needs. Thanks.
Seriously please just let us remove the tile. Every reason for wanting it gone is valid. I don’t want to share when I’m on my period with whoever’s around me as I’m scrolling through, or if it accidentally gets bumped or my one year old is messing with it. It is WAY more personal information than step count or heart rate.
1) I agree we shouldn’t need to upvote for this feature to be added
2) but exactly how many comments/upvotes are we talking about here? 200? 500? Considering Fitbit is all about setting and reaching goals, provide a specific necessary number for us to aspire to.
Please remove the Menstrual "app" from the Luxe device. In today's world, this should be OPTIONAL and it should not be assumed that because I identify as female that I want to track my cycle. Do you force this on men? If not, why is it forced on women? I should not have to identify myself as male in order remove this from my device. Where do we vote to remove it?
Need to have a option for no cycle or hysterectomy so it will quit saying that you have stopped logging your cycle and that you need to log your current cycle.
Hi @Sabrinascuba, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about having more option on Menstrual Health Tracking for hysterectomy cases. I've moved it into a similar request. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs. Click on the thumbs-up to show your support.
Thank you again for your participation in the Feature Suggestions Forums.
I agree wholeheartedly with this. I've upvoted the suggestion but, as I've noticed in the past, this seems to be where suggestions go to die. You'd think the ability to remove stats from your device would be an easy fix, but with all the ones that have been requested in the past, it doesn't happen.
My boyfriend and I are over 65 yrs old. Probably not the only one's here NOT menstrating. Yet I cannot edit and remove this stupid feature! How about bowel regularity tracking? Much more appropriate. Thank you
Hi @SeniorMom, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board. You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing suggestions:
Please try to make sure you only post one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for. Thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions.
We really need to have the OPTION to remove the Menstral tile. I used it faithfully on the app, but it doesn't serve a purpose on the watch as we are all WELL AWARE when we are bleeding.
Also, I just spent 6 months in surgeries and recovery, ultimately resulting in a hysterectomy, so I can't even use the **ahem** Menstral section anymore. Not to mention, ALL WOMEN go through menopause at some point, so they will stop needing that tile at some point in their life!!!!
I would REALLY like the option to take this tile off since it doesn't apply to me anymore.
I have had endometrial cancer resulting in a hysterectomy. I would prefer not to see the menstrual tile on my Fitbit. Please, please give us the option to remove it.
If fitbit already knows your age and uses it to compute your highest heart rate, then why can't it use that age for identifying who is too old for the menustrating feature. Also I see men complaining that they can't delete it either. Programmers need to step up their game and fix this without the need for voting!
It's been 3 years (as far as I can tell) that this issue was raised. I still have the menstrual tile on my fitbit app and it really ticks me off. I shouldn't have to justify my reasons for not wanting the tile. It isn't rocket science to make the tile optional. Why hasn't this been addressed yet? If it has, my apologies for the rant and please provide instructions for removing it. Thank you.
Omg why is it so hard to understand that women don't want to track their periods on the app or the device connected! Please offer an option to turn it off! I got a fitbit specifically to get stronger after a hysterectomy! I don't need daily reminders that I am no longer cycling (thankfully as I was becoming anemic from my 20 days on 5 days off schedule) my cycle never fit a tracker, there is no "im pregnant" section or way to remove the tracking tile on fitbit and app....only can take off app for the day! This data can be used in court to convict women who abort (even spontaneous ones) in several states! Remove it!
Hi @Pinnypin, thanks for sharing this product feedback about being able to remove the Menstrual Health tile from Fitbit devices with us. Because this idea was already requested in this board, I’ve moved your post here. This will help us to make sure the product feedback shared here doesn't get confused, or split a popular vote. Please click on the thumbs-up to show your support.
Please give us the option to remove the menstrual health tile. I’ve seen several other people suggest it. It’s totally unnecessary for those of us past menopause.
You can remove that metric by editing the today screen in the Fitbit app.
Tap the edit icon (pencil) at the top right of the Today screen, under Show/hide other metrics toggle Menstrual health to off. Tap Save at the top right of the screen to return to the Today screen.
Hi @KFishAK, thanks for taking the time to share this product feedback about having an option to remove the Menstrual Health tile. Let me clarify that you can remove this tile from the Fitbit app by following the steps described in this help article.
On the other hand, if you want to remove it from your Fitbit device completely, I'd encourage you to support this product feedback by adding your vote. I'll also move your post here so this idea doesn't get confused with others, or split a popular vote. Keep adding your suggestions!
