Yes..!! Great idea to expand upon this with the time based goals too! Could have an option when setting up the different goal levels if they are timed based and the goal time (or just step based). I know that would make me want to get my butt moving even more!! 😉
Loving my Charge HR and I would also like to see an option to have my tracker vibrate not just at my personal daily step goal, but also at multiples of my goal (10,000, 20,000, 30,000, etc.). This would be a great motivational feature. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to give input!
Would also love to have multiple goal alarms available on my fitbit charge.
Since this thread started back in 2014, my question to the moderator is: Is this being actively worked on by Fitbit? I expect it would be a well appreciated feature and selling point.
My idea would be to have the ability to have different step goals per day. So like on the weekends, holidays, & vacations I could set a step goal that lined up better with my activity level.
So I just bought the Fitbit Flex and wondered, why I can set so many goals in the app, but only have the choice between 3 main goals to be displayed on my Flex. I would love to let my Flex show something else than just Steps, Distance or Burned calories.
Hi. I'm vision impaired and do not have enough sight to see the lights on my fitbit flex. I wondered if it would be possible to have the fitbit flex vibrate every time one of the five lights was lit upon reaching the next 20% of your goal. It would also be useful if it could vibrate the same number of times as lights that are lit up. So, if you tapped it to take a look at your progress and 3 lights were lit, it would vibrate 3 times. As someone who cannot see the lights on my flex, it would be really good to be able to get this information quickly and without having to be anywhere near your phone. Thanks.
I work during the week so my weekday goals are 10000 steps a day. However on the weekend I'm more active and my goal is more around 15000 steps. It would be great if we could set the goals by each day and even better if we could have two goals per day. While I normally achieve 10000 steps a day... I always have a higher aspiration of 12000 steps during the weekday. Weekend is similar 15008 is my goal for Saturday and Sunday but sometimes I have aspirations for 20000 steps on those two days each.

I know that the Blazevibrates when I reach my daily step goal of 15000 steps. I have become kind of a vibration junkie waiting for the vibration to happen.
I would very much like to see more vibrations happening beyond the daily goal, at an interval set by the user.
For example, I would like to feel a vibration every +5000 steps beyond the daily goal. I think this will motivate me to do more...
I am sure that others, who have different 'goals' in KMs, or floors climbed etc would also benefit from such a feature.
Can you get the buzzing reward for every 10,000 steps you get in a day. So if you hit 20,000 steps in a day it buzzes and rewards you for that also. Thanks
Also, would like to set mini vibrations, so say each (custom amount of steps) it vibrates. Like at 2.5 k incriments, to keep me going, coz when you get to the 10 it's like... Oh, the end? Also, ability to set certin goals, based on the day like Monday 13k Tuesday 9k, ect. Also, liking the idea of certin one day goals. And Fitbit giving certain suggested goals, it's it's national running day or something. Think about it, thanks!
I have a goal of 10000 steps per day, what I would like to see or have is a notice for every 10000 steps in that day. Sometimes I do 20000, just would help to keep the day interesting if we could look forward to that vibration alert.
I love the hourly step log, but I think you should be able to track more than 14 hours a day. I am awake more than 14 hours a day. Typically I was up at 3:15am and go to bed at 8:30pm. I am not able to track all my steps every hour. I also like the ideas that people have posted to remind you when you have been idle for an hour so you get up an move. Please adjust the tracking to longer than 14 hour say 20 hours of the day, some of us don't get much sleep.
This would be great! Personally I'd prefer it to vibrate for every time you go over your goal by x2, x3 etc. But if we could set the 'vibrate notifications' ourselves you could do whatever increments you want 🙂
I think it would be really great if the app was equipped to let you set a primary and secondary goal... Say, my absolute minimum is 10000 steps per day, but what I really want is 15000... So it would be cool if both could be set as a goal. The primary goal keeps you moving to keep a higher baseline, but the secondary goal gets you motivated to keep going further on a good day!
I'd love this--I have a daily goal of 10k steps, but would love to be able to set my Alta to vibrate for every 2k steps after I hit my 10k goal--I think this would really motivate me to get even more steps in each day.
I'm a waitress and during my shifts I try to take as many steps as possble, making it a game by trying to beat my number each shift. I have no problem hiting 10000 steps and I love that it lets me know, I wish I could set more goals so it would let me know when I hit 11k, 12k, 13k and so on. It would be great if I was able to set these multiple step goals for myself as I find it annoying to keep checking. Even If i was able to set another goal at every 5000 (10k, 15k, 20k ect)
