Able to set stats goals for different week days / weekend

It would be nice if you could change your distance goals to not just be one target ie:10,000 or whatever the user has set.  I put more distance on on my non-work days and would like to set a higher target.  Currently I have mine set for 7,000 but I would like to have weekends at 10,000.  My daugher and son-in-law aim for 13,000 on weekends.

Just an idea.

Thanks

Gita

I would also love to be able to set different step count goals for the weekend (when I'm usually not as active) and the weekdays. Please add that feature.

Good morning, I was wondering if there is anyway of having different daily targets loaded into Fitbit. I currently work some days for 13 hour shift at a desk. It’s pretty impossible to get 10,000 steps in on that day. So I was thinking that you guys at Fitbit could help us feel better about reaching our targets and you could change the settings so we could have a daily target. So on a Monday I could perhaps have my steps set to 5000 which would be so much easier to achieve therefore not making me feel bad about not hitting target but still making me move. Then on Tuesday my daily target could 15,000 because it’s my day off and I know I can go to the gym and so on..... what do you think? Also I’m bored of the challenges can we get some new ones? Thanks xx

I'd love to be able to have goals for different days. On my days off, I'd like to set my goals that are significantly higher. There are even some work days that I would do that.

I would like different targets (number of steps, etc) on different days. This would allow for weekends, holidays, etc when activity levels vary. Can this be set on the app or web interface?

My friends and I regularly take part in weekly and weekend challenges, we all enjoy the competition, we seem to do far more steps during the week than the weekends, I go over my daily target in the week by several thousand. But struggle to reach it at the weekend. It would be a great if you could have different daily goals for week days and weekends.

Come on Fitbit this must be an easy fix!

This should be for all measured activities not just steps. (floors, miles, calories, active minutes, sleep, 250+ steps per hour...)

I am sure someone may have already asked for this but It would be great if you could customise step goal and active hours for weekdays and weekends as I do a lot of walking for my job during the week where as at the weekend I struggle to even get half my weekday goal.

I would love to set a different step goal for each day. For example: on a work day it’s already a huge challenge to hit the 10.000 steps but on a day off, on the weekend or on a competition day 10.000 steps are hit within a few hours and it isn’t challenging anymore to do some extra steps

Highly agree

I find that my steps/activity levels differ by day based on whether I’m at work. It would be good to be able to set different targets for each day of the week to ensure they are realistic.

Has any progress been made to allow differing goals by day of the week?

I agree. I want to present daily goals. Right now, the daily goal is all or nothing, if I raise or lower the goal, it changes past days.

It would ideal if goals can be set for a specific days. For instance, I may want 10K steps Mon-Friday, but only 5K on the weekend.  In addition, I may want to reduce or increase my steps while on vacation, so being able to change it for a week, for example, would be a great feature.

Also, if I forget my Fitbit, it would be great to be able to open the app and have my phone track my steps.  Would also be nice to use my Fitbit as a clip-on to my belt instead of always as a watch.

Hi @SunsetRunner! Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We wanted to let you know that one of your ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board. Check the Step goal for different week days idea and don't forget to add your vote!

About your second idea, let me share that there is a feature called MobileTrack that exists in the Fitbit app. This feature allows you to track basic information with your phone when you don't have your Fitbit device nearby. To learn more about it, please check this help article.

In regards to your third suggestion, currently we have the Fitbit Inspire which has a wrist and clip mode to track your information. Keep in mind that the clip accessory is only for Fitbit Inspire, it doesn't work with Fitbit Inspire HR. Please try to make sure you only post one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for. Thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions!

Hello Fitbit!

I would like to suggest adding an option to customize calorie options for different days of the week. I know there are likely a lot of us who eat more on the days we strength train, and not having the option to do that on Fitbit is a bit of a disappointment. Only thing you would have to do is if you choose to set your own calorie goal, maybe have an additional option saying something along the lines of "Customize for Different Days," then set your calorie goals certain days (1800 for Monday/Wednesday, 1600 for Tuesday/Thursday, etc). I used to have this feature on MyFitnessPal Premium but deleted my account there after multiple sync issues between them and Fitbit.

(And if this suggestion is being considered, please don't make this a Premium feature! Not all of us can afford that.)

Thank you!

I'm not going to upvote my own suggestion. I think the fact I'm suggesting this shows my position 😂

I would like the ability to set different step goals for different days of the week. For example Saturday and Sundays are heavy step days so I would set my base steps on the weekend to 15k. During the week I could change the step goals to more reasonable numbers..And then on gym nights I could ramp up the numbers.

This would enable me to set and forget it.  Whereas right now I have to change my steps on the weekend, as I will blow them away if I don't.

This request is being made to help some friends of mine stay consistent on the weekend and weekday as there are 5 of us that compete in daily step goals challenges.

We want to compliment Fitbit on creating the ability to calculate a win by using the percentage closer to your goal day.

Thank you for listening
