Accessibility for People with Visual Impairments (voice/audio)

I would like to see in a future Versa or an update of your app for the Versa watch from Fitbit made to talk for those who are blind or hard of hearing blind or those who are legally blind so that we are able to read your watch the same way as other fitbit customers that do not have a visual handicap use your product.

An audible feature to your watch and app would be greatly appreciated in that it would greatly enhance its user friendliness and enhance the quality of our lives. It would also give us verbal readout of notifications on the watch itself.

I thank your development team in advance for your time.

Have a wonderful day.

Sincerely Yours,

I am a blind user also and I’ve been very frustrated with the response from Fitbit regarding accessibility. Since the purchasing of my Fitbit charge too, I have been requesting that Fitbit develop a disability support team to work with people with visual and physical disability to maximize the value of the Fitbit Trackers. I am on my third device a Fitbit charge five and although there have been minor improvements regarding accessibility they have been frustrated by features being removed or made more difficult. I have contacted Google disability support and the people there have been empathetic and helpful and have forwarded my concerns to Fitbit. I have been told that Fitbit will get back to me And this never happens.
