I wish I knew the answer to that question. Presumably it needs a agreement between Audible and Fitbit . Audible is such a huge company, I doubt that the opinion of a few of us would really bother them, but Fitbit May be more open. Perhaps we should all write independently to customer care !
Trust me,if it were in my power to do so, I would. although Fitbit has great customer service I don't think they have gotten where they need to be just yet with the apps. Who knows what 2019 is going to bring! I hope Fitbit is listening!😎 Will keep you posted.
Any idea's on how we could get our concerns to the decision makers at Fitbit? I think we are all in agreement that we want this. Now how do we go about getting the attention of the Power's That Be @ Fitbit?
@franceswartnaby actually you can log in to your audible.com account and download audiobooks as mp3 but they will be DRM protected, I believe. I would love audible app for Versa but given the sizes of audiobooks this might be a bit moot point. I kinda found a workaround. I'm able to control Audible app on my phone with Versa music controls. I wrote more about it here.
I was ready to buy the Fitbit Versa but really want the Audible app as I listen to my books when I’m exercising. Just adding to the votes for Audible App.
I would LOVE to be able to listen to my audible books via my Versa! The music is choppy and sucks. Ive tried everything to fix that. So basically my husband over played for a pedometer because that's all it's used for. Fingers crossed for Audible so I can actually enjoy my fitbit!
Yes. I totally agree. I will stick with my Alta till something comes on the market that will play Audible Books. Hopefully it will be a fitbit, but if not I will jump ship
Yes!! An app for audiobook listening that is less clunky than those fixes suggested by users (which I very much appreciate, to be sure!) is essential. One that works with Overdrive and Hoopla (typical delivery vehicle for audiobooks from libraries).
