Thank you. But I want to make clear to people that the actual recommendation is to use an integration with Amazon audible to listen to audiobooks.

Unfortunately no. Though Fitbit supports a variety of apps like Deezer, Pandora, Music, Starbucks, Flipboard, Nest, Audible app is not there. In this case, the official ways won't work and you have to turn to third-party alternative solutions.
I can see your point but my take is that fitbits are first and foremost fitness trackers. The bells and whistles like music are nice to have but not that important to me.
I don't see the Versa as a big disappointment because it lacks a minor (to me) secondary function FaceTime for PC.
Thanks. What do you know of as a 3rd party alternative? I’m game for any solution. All my workouts have been built around book listening for years. The Versa I believe at least allowed us to download our on mp3 files, which could include books. The "upgraded" Sense apparently has "downgraded" at least that functionality.
Would love an update here. Is there any way to get audio books to play on the Sense? My ideal answer is that Sense directly supports an Audible app. Thank you in advance!
I'm definitely interested in any ideas for how to listen to an audiobook with a Fitbit so I don't have to take my phone on my walk. Please update if there are any workarounds for this! Thanks!
Seriously its time to add the audible app to fitbits app selection. The last time it was mentioned back in 2019 it had around 700+ votes. We have the option for Spotify, pandora but not Audible app?
Moderator edit: Clarified subject and updated label
@Aaig Nice to see you here. Thank you for your feedback and suggestion about adding the Audible app.
Just to avoid confusions, could you specify if you'd like to have the Audible app on a Fitbit device or to sync it with the Fitbit app so that you can export your audio books?
On what device would you like to have the Audio app available?
It would be really great and convenient for active times to be able to stream my own library on YouTube Music or to stream my audio books on Audible through my Sense.

I like to listen to Libby while going to sleep, and it would make it much easier if I could control the app on my Fitbit instead of looking at my phone in the middle of the night. Even controlling audio via the Fitbit would be helpful.
I'm new to fitbit but not to audio. Apparently, moderators have indicated that they review suggestions and pass them on for the decision, to develop or not to develop. But the ability to upload my own MP3 material has *already* been developed n the Versa 3, right? So it's not the hard labor in developing the ability that prevents our ability to do so, but a decision based on other criteria.
I can't listen to my recorded lectures and meeting notes on Pandora. And yet Google/Fitbit wants to force me there for a product I don't need.
I've got until January 30 to return this product to Amazon. I await Google/Fitbit's updates and decisions, but I don't expect transparency from Google regarding the process ha leads to them. Just the decisions.
Hi @Aaig, thanks for clarifying that you'd like to have the Audible app available on the Fitbit Sense with us. I was so excited to receive my Sense. But upon exploring i find it is a ridiculously limited device. Great for fitness tracking but completely underwhelming for things that naturally facilitate and accompany an active lifestyle. I hate Spotify and have never been interested in Pandora. I love actual radio so my go to is Tunein and I have thousands of mp3s of all my tunes. Both of which are not compatible. Even something as mainstream as Audible doesn't have an app on the fitbit platform. Not to mention that almost no Google tools are compatible. I feel like my new sense is almost useless. I'm returning it forthwith.

I would also like this for the versa 2. I can download files to this device but it does not have the audible app to play type of file. I would use this daily.
FEATURE SUGGESTION Fitbit should be integrated with Audio Books such as Audible. That way, we can listen to an audiobook at night, and when we fall asleep Fitbit recognizes this and it would be able to pause the audiobook immediately.
