Add Chromcast ability for workout videos

Workout videos found in the Fitbit app do not have the Chromecast ability like Coach videos do. It is very difficult to follow along on a small phone screen. Adding the ability to Chromecast those videos would be helpful.

I'm wondering if at anytime Fitstar users will be able to cast via chromecast. Currently, you can only use your computer, laptop, phone or tablet to view the videos. This added feature will make it much easier to watch and follow the workout.

Hi @EmyR. Thanks for sharing this suggestion about being able to use Chromecast to see your Fitbit Coach videos. Our web API and smartwatch SDK are open which means that the service you are wanting can actually integrate with Fitbit. We’d encourage you to make this suggestion to the service and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community. You will likely be able to email them via their contact us page or customer support, or they may have their own ideas board like this. Or encourage them to reach out to Fitbit directly. Ability to Cast videos to displays

Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to cast videos using Chromecast. This feature suggestion already exists, so I've moved it into a similar request. While we don’t currently have plans to release this feature, we always appreciate the passion and creativity that comes out of this Community. Since we know this idea is important to many of you, we have left voting open to continue tracking interest and will post another update if anything changes.

This is fantastic! Now just add Dark Mode so we don't get blasted by bright light when we open the app to do a meditiation before going to sleep and you'll have a winning app.
