Add ING Bank in Netherlands to Google Wallet (formerly Fitbit Pay)

Dear Fit Bit Pay responsible,

For all NL users of your Fitbit Ionic, could you please make sure only ONE bank in our country is contracted as soon as possible? Preferably this is ING Bank, the biggest one in The Netherlands with > 8 million (private) clients (= 47% of the population).

Without any Dutch bank the whole feature is useless, so please TAKE ACTION if you want to increase your customer satisfaction that is currently dropping dramatically...

Kind regards,

Maud

The Netherlands.

I think this issue is really an ING issue. The don't support Fitbit and they also don't support Google pay. Not with debit or credit card. So ING just doesn't want do this and of course, it's their decision I think.

Now 4 year later after this suggestion has been submitted and currently using the Fitbit Sense, still no support for the ING bank in the Netherlands.

Please put effort into this suggestion or try into looking to implement Google Pay!

Any updates? ING is now supporting Google Pay, but it still not working on Fitbit, getting error message that contact payment is not possible while trying to add my Debit or Creditcard. Both card works fine with Google Pay on my phone.

ING Bank is the largest and most widely used bank in the Netherlands, yet Google Wallet on Fitbit still doesn’t support it. Competing devices and most Dutch banks already offer this feature. Adding ING would fix a long-standing gap and make Fitbit far more useful, competitive, and relevant in the Dutch tech ecosystem.

I am totally with you too, they have got to add this as soon as possible considering that most NL Banks are already supported with the exclusion of ING, also ING has been recently rolling out more support for other ways to pay such as Google pay for Androids, Garmin, iDeal and AH, so it should be the best time to add the biggest bank in the Netherlands with the biggest Fitness tracker company
