Add Speed vs Time/Location Plot

I recently noticed that the fitbit app has a new feature that shows your pace in color (green=fast, blue=slower) along your path for GPS tracked runs. Due to the lack of consistent precision of an Iphone's GPS, the line is just a dashed blue and green line that offers no useful info. The GPS data needs filtering or a plot would be best

I actually was just admiring the new existing feature. I love seeing where exactly in my workout I was running vs walking and I think it works fantastically for my phone.

That being said, for users with crappy GPS tracking, I can never turn down the opportunity for *extra* data, and so I support the idea of plots. Just don't take away what we already have please I like it.

I guess I'm looking for difference in pace while I'm running, not during a workout where I walked. Even with good GPS, if you're going generally the same speed throughout the run, its impossible to tell where you were slowing down a tad with the current setup.

What would be more useful in this case would be a gradient then, huh?

Although I do still like the idea of more plots. 😉

If you mean acceleration, then no I think a speed vs time plot would be more universally comprehended
