In light of recent events in Iowa with missing persons... I was thinking it would be great if my wife while on a jog could put her fitbit in a mode that when all buttons are pressed it would activate a pre canned message "I need help at -location-" and turn on tracking. Kind of a digital rape whistle.

I love this idea, and would like to see this as well. I used to be able to say that I live in a safe town, but having had two murders in two years of young females, having a safety feature that someone can activate without alerting the attacker may help save lives.
