Add custom label to each card in Fitbit Pay Wallet (when using multiple cards)

A few weeks ago my bank (Rabobank in the Netherlands) started support for Fitbit Pay, which is awesome! I was able to add the cards from my accounts and can make payments with them at contactless terminals. Only issue I came up with is that I have multiple accounts at this same bank and the icon for these cards is exactly the same on my Fitbit Ionic. I now have to memorise the custom 4-digit suffix of the device account number for the cards to know which one I'm paying with, which is a bit cumbersome.

It would be helpful if I'd be able to set a custom label to each card to help me in picking the right card, even a short 8 or 10 character label will do if space is an issue.

Hi @Jorix, you have a good point there. Great suggestion for users using multiple cards.

This idea needs more love. I've got 3 nearly identical cards and the memory of a goldfish. Having customisable names would be REALLY helpful.

I would like to add custom names to cards in Fitbit Pay Wallet. I have different debit cards form the same bank for different use. Would be great to be able to separate them with a custom name.

Hi @MiggiMig, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is not currently under Reviewed by Moderator stataus.

I have multiple cards from Revolut and they are all named the same in fitbit pay, making it hard to choose the right one when at the counter having to pay.

It would therefore be great to be able to give the cards a name, such as "Private", "Company Expenses", "Company Car", etc.

regards, Tilli

Hi @uTILLItythanks sharing this information about the difficulty you've experiencing having multiple cards and not being able to assign a name for each one, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is currently under "Reviewed by moderator" status.

yes I would like to +1 this feature suggestion. I get confused with the 4 cards I have, and always end up paying with the wrong one! Which is a nightmare, as i have both business and personal cards on there.

Part of the problem is that the 'tap to change card' feature can be improved, as when you try to pay contactless, sometimes you tap your watch against the terminal by accident, and this will change your card. I would prefer to swipe left and right to cycle through the card, and then the tap can be to get to the other settings like notifications.

Please work on this request.  It is hard to keep the business and personal cards from the same bank separate.  And extremely important to keep business and personal purchases separate.

I upgraded from Charge 3 to 4 for specifically the Fitbit Pay/Wallet feature (I used an iPhone with Apple Pay before, but since switching to Android I wasn't able to use my phone to pay anymore - so wearables to the rescue).
Issue is that my Bank uses the same Image for all cards - It would be great - as suggested here already. Just making the point how great it would be - to be able to give all of these cards a name or even custom image (photo of the actual card for example) for quicker identification.

Pretty please - sugar on top,

Yes! This pls!! 🙂

I have 15 cards (personal, shared, kids etc) and they all show up the same in FitBit Pay. Only reason I have to use Google Pay instead coz Google Pay support custom names

Any ETA for this? 🙂
