Please could you add a Tile to the Sense 2/Versa 4 which shows how many of the active hours I have completed for today's Hourly Activity goal, and how many steps are left if it is not yet complete for that hour?
Yes, I can see how the amount of information on the Move It clock face could be overwhelming/unwanted. It'd be nice if they gave you toggles to turn some of them off. The size of the information is not a problem for me. Sorry this wasn't an option for you.
I had to upgrade to a Versa 4. Having the hourly steps counter was very important to me and so disappointed this new version does not have this tile. I hope Versa adds this feature back.
If anyone is interested, I made a couple of watch faces that has Steps Left This Hour on it. It requires loading the "fitface" clock on the fitbit app and making a free fitface acct. Select "customize clock face" and then select "select another design"
The 1st one I made is free and is a fairly simple clock face. The name to search for is Blue Steps Left This Hour
The 2nd one I made is $1 and has the sun & moon rotate throughout the day. The name to search for is SunMoon1+Steps Left This Hour
There are thousands of other clock faces on fitface that you can check out or you can make your own clock face. Hope this helps.😄
Come on Fitbit. Are you not listening (reading)? Give us what we want! Hourly steps already shows up on the Versa 4 for the last ten minutes of the hour (if you haven't reached your hourly goal yet). Make it so it shows the entire hour, every hour. And keep showing the step count for the hour even after the hourly goal has been reached. How hard could it be?
Also, since the update, I can't see battery life on the app only on the Fitbit! Why make such stupid changes? I just wish someone from Fitbit bothered to look at these comments and did something useful instead of reducing the usefulness and increased out instead.
Just upgraded from Versa 2 to Versa 4 due to battery issues. Can't believe how difficult it is to see hourly step counts on Versa 4. Based on these complaints going back over a year with no change it's obvious that Google doesn't care what it's customers want. Just add a tile for hourly steps data! Would really like to talk to the developers and ask what the hell they were thinking? I have until January to decide to keep it or return it. Very disappointed.
Just received my Versa 4 today, as a replacement for my Versa 2, which was starting to not work properly, etc. So disappointed that we cannot view the hourly progress towards the 250 step goal!! If I had realized that, I would not have purchased this. Fitbit, what on earth were you thinking when you removed this feature??
Had I known I wouldn't be able to easily check my steps per hour on my clock face with Versa 4, I would not have bought the darn thing. I am 73 and need that reminder. Now when I feel the vibration, I can't tell if I need 15 or 215 steps, and by the time I flip through all the wretched tiles, my hour's up! What the heck? The steps per hour is the MAIN reason I wear a Fitbit - to get me up and keep me moving! I miss my Blaze.
There is a clock face called SimpleClockPro that gives you that. It’s available in the Gallery for Versa 4 and Sense 2. Read the instructions on how to set it up for how many active hours, etc but once you have it set up it gives you all the information you need on one face.
Yes. Please add the hourly step count to the Sense 2! I miss this feature. I need the reminder BEFORE 10 minutes prior to the end of the hour. Thank you.
You can get the FitFace app to connect with your FitBit. It is free!! It tells you on your FitBit face the steps left this hour…steps today. If you gently tap it you will get resting heart rate and and distance for the day. I got it after seeing someone posting a response to my comment.
If you wait until 10 minutes before the hour, it will show you how many steps you have left. Any other time, it doesn’t. It should have been designed to show you steps left at any time Sent from my iPhone
Correct, the versa 4 does not show hourly steps. IMO the versa 2 is a better watch. Versa 4 pros: longer battery life and brighter screen. Versa 4 cons: no hourly steps, when the versa 4 detects an exercise it will not show the homescreen face or anything else. Timer & stopwatch functions on versa 4 not as straightforward. Bottom line: I wish Fitbit kept the Versa 2 operating system.
This suggestion was made in October of 2022. There have been others make the same suggestion. Obviously Fitbit doesn't give a **ahem** what it's customers/users want. I'm looking forward to getting an Apple watch when my Versa 4 dies, which if this one is like my other Fitbit devices will be shortly after the warranty expires!
I agree with the others who have posted here. I activated my new Versa 4 yesterday evening, and I noticed today that I was not able to see my remaining steps for the hour until the :50 mark each hour and then it was in the tiniest script possible. It also doesn't seem to refresh as often as my Versa 2 (or several previous devices) did, which I'm very disappointed about - it was almost real-time on the V2, not so much on the V4, so it's very hard to make sure I get those steps in. I used to check this all the time on my Versa 2, and I do not understand why this was not added. Please think about re-adding and improving this functionality ASAP.
