Please could you add a Tile to the Sense 2/Versa 4 which shows how many of the active hours I have completed for today's Hourly Activity goal, and how many steps are left if it is not yet complete for that hour?
This was a standard in Versa 2 and older Charges, and very important to me. I'm considering returning the Versa 4 and looking for the old model. Very, very disappointed!
There is a clock face available for the Sense1/2 and the Versa 3/4 called SimpleClockPro that has an hourly steps counter. It can count either steps per hour completed up to 250, or hourly steps to go to get 250. Has a lot of other features, set it up the way you want. The only clock face I use.
@huskersal74 I agree! Fitface is great! There are also a lot of free clockfaces on fitface that you can use if you don't want to make your own. I put a very simple clockface with remaining steps on it named mt3. It is free for anyone to use. All you have to do is add fitface as your clockface then select the design in fitface you want to use. Some designs charge $, but a lot of them are free like mine.
Thanks for the suggestions, all. I did download a clock face that provides it, but I still think Fitbit should listen to their customers and add it back in as part of their standard clockface.
Please bring back the capability to see how many steps you completed within the hour for the Versa 4, like we had on the Versa 3. Seeing the completed hours and waiting til the last ten minutes of the hour to see what you have left is counter productive.
I just got the sense 2 after having the Versa. Hourly step count is missing from this watch. Only shows the last 10 minutes. I am not always able to step during those 10 minutes and use to be able to plan to get my hourly steps. Without any feedback as to where I am it is a bad design to not include that. Sitting is the new smoking. FITBIT, PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE.
Please add back to Tile for the Versa 4 which shows how many steps left in the hourly 250 step goal.active goal, and how many steps are left if it is not yet complete for that hour?
Hi @Chanssister, thanks for taking the time to share this product feedback about displaying the number of steps needed to complete the hourly activity goal at anytime on your Versa 4 with us. Because this product feedback was already requested on this board, I’ve moved your post here. Please support this product feedback by adding your vote, this helps our developers to keep tracking its popularity and demand over time.
I recently changed to Sense 2 but very disappointed to note that sense 2 does not have the feature showing the number of steps taken every hour to reach the hourly goal of 250. Please do add this feature
I have the same problem. I had to just stop trying g to get all my steps in every hour because it makes it too hard to know where you are at. The last 10 minutes it tells you how many are left but can’t always take steps during that time period. Fitbit dropped the ball on this one. Sent from my iPhone
Being able to see how many steps per hour I've taken is a feature I have used several times a day on both my Blaze and Charge 2. I just started using a Versa 4 yesterday evening after converting my FB account to Google and I don't yet see any way to see anything but the completed hour on the "Today" screen. I can't imagine it would be so difficult to modify the tracker's software to have it function the same as these two legacy devices: steps taken (or remaining) for the current hour, then the day's progress once the hourly goal is met. Please bring back that function!
For anyone looking for display of the current hour step total, I'd recommend you try the "Move It!" clockface by Driftwood Computer Systems. I'm not associated with them in any way but I tried many clockfaces before I found this one. In addition to the time, it shows step counts for current day and current hour. Also has a graphic display of daily and hours goals. You can also set up multiple reminders if you haven't met the 250 step hourly goal. For example, I have it set for 50, 53, and 56 minutes of the hour. I sometimes missed the single reminder at 50 minutes but I always notice at least one of the 3 reminders now.
After the last update I've lost the ability to check the number of steps left to hit my 250 steps per hour goal. I really liked this because I could check on my steps anytime, rather than just getting notified 10 minutes before. Please bring this back. I had it on my Versa 2 and Blaze, and it was on my Sense 2 until the last update.
Hi @tshall123, and thanks for taking the time to share this product feedback about bringing back the option to see the amount of steps left to reach the Hourly Activity goal with us! We've found a similar request and merged yours with it. You can find it here. Please vote on the existing thread to help us track interest. I see this is an old thread but I recently “upgraded” to a versa 4 and I’m so disappointed in the loss of this functionality. I always want to see my hourly steps and I used to have a clock face that showed them. When I first got the versa 4 I lost my favorite clock face but I did get another clock face that showed them but it was always behind so I stopped using it. That’s when I started looking in the Today area and was shocked that they aren’t there! I am referring to having them show on the watch but the app would be good too! Why the loss of this feature? The Versa 4 is a step back in some regards! The same also seems to be true of the Sense 1 and 2. I will not be getting a pixel because i have an iPhone. I would like to stay with Fitbit.
