I always look at my lifetime steps. At one time I thought of switching to another device. But I would have to start over with lifetime steps where I went.

It might not get as many votes as some other items, but it was the first thing that I viewed every week. If it is not included in the app, the Charge 6 will be my last purchase. I have been with FitBit since the Charge 2 in 2015. Brand loyalty should account for something. My experience with computer program indicates that it would not be too difficult to include this in the app.
I look at my lifetime steps all the time. I've got a Google Pixel Watch 3 ordered and the biggest reason I chose it over others is because my Fitbit stats would carry over. Now it seems like that's not happening so I'm going to cancel it. That's what big companies do, they buy companies, strip out what they want, then shut them down. I think Samsung or Apple is calling me.
Lifetime steps and distance are still reported on your profile page. Click on your profile picture or avatar at the top right of the fitbit.com page. Included are lifetime distance, steps, and floors as well as best achievement stats and badges.
Now that the online dashboard has completely disappeared (as of a few weeks ago) there is no place to view lifetime data (step counts, etc). I was tracking that religiously for a while as I aimed for the Pole to Pole Badge, which looks at lifetime steps. (Side note, why is the Pole to Pole the last lifetime steps badge?)
I've poked around the app to no avail, and a Google search doesn't give me any answers yet. How can they remove the data from the web without setting it up in the app first?!
I was directed to this thread after I started my own in the Fitbit Premium threads. I am devastated that after almost 11 years and countless Fitbit devices, I have zero way to track my cumulative distance and steps. As I approach my later years, I have a goal of reaching the 24,901 miles that comprise the distance around the world and I believe that I have the ability to do so in the next 6 years or so. Or I DID, but I haven't been able to see where I stand since FITBIT discontinued the dashboard and the cumulative data visualizations. I have voted to BEG Fitbit/Google to restore the cumulative distance and steps for its members at the top of this thread and I am so hopeful that they will. Fitbit does indicate that data downloads are available, but I have zero idea what to do with dozens of files with no explanation whatsoever, and there appears to be no app or site that offers further information or the ability to import that data. Ten plus years and I am left with nothing for all my efforts. Sigh... Please, do something for your loyal members?
I can't understand why the Lifetime data has been removed. This is the only way to monitor progress towards the badges, and plan regular goals. The removal of this data has very much diminished the Fitbit experience.
