Allow Customers to choose between Dashboards

In the latest update of the Fitbit app, the Dashboard that customers interact with daily underwent a huge visual downgrade. It is far less appealing to look at, and harder to quickly see where you are with your daily goals. Please allow Customers to choose their dashboard, similar to how customers can choose their fitbits clock faces. It makes sense to at least allow a choice between the new version and the old version of the dashboard. PLEASE consider this.

To Vote for a choice between the new and old dashboard, go to "Feature Suggestions" - then "Allow customers to choose between dashboards" should be near the top of the list.

This is the version that sucks big time:

Change can be good but in this case it's not.

Fitbit seems to have put features they want us to use at the forefront and completely dismissing what the users would like to see/keep.

Very disappointing from an app I had previously told others about as a great example of clear, clean, crisp UX that was functional.

This is a huge step backward. One member of our family just bought a Garmin and I'm seriously considering doing the same thing.

This is the dashboard that I found by fooling around with the "line" one. You can't move the icons, but its better than the line one:

Bring back the old. I was given no choice to go with the new. I had to accept it or I could not use the app at all. We should be given a choice to go back. Even Google (the monstrosity) allows us to keep older versions. Fitbit needs to do the same, or we can find a different tracker. Listen to your customers, Fitbit!

Have to agree with all those who intensely dislike (i.e., hate) the new dashboard look. Fitbit, are you there? Are you listening? Want to request that you give us the choice.

Anybody here old enough to remember Coca Cola’s 1985 marketing failure with the “New Coke”? And how they backed down after just a couple of months and brought back what all their customers demanded: Coca Cola classic? C’mon, Fitbit, learn from others’ mistakes.

I didn't even receive a notice asking if I'd like to use the new version of the app, it just automatically happened 😞 It's much less user friendy and I'm scrolling through so many things to see items that were previously immediately visible! So disappointing and I hope I'll have an opportunity to change back.

@wright733 Coca Cola sales had been dropping and they brought out New Coke as a ploy to boost sales. Once the sales increased their wasn't a reason to keep it around.

I didn't know I had a chance to reject the update. If I did I wouldn't have done it.

This is completely awful. Give us the old dash back!

Hate it. I don’t hate a lot but really hate this new design. It’s too fiddly. Too small for when doing exercise. Hate it.

Thousands of negative comments and reviews on the forum or Apple regarding this awful new dashboard, yet I see nothing from Fitbit addressing this issue. Just a lot of canned responses.

I do not get along with the new layout at all. Not intuitive and some features are now very hidden. Also, I didn't know I could have rejected it. Would have loved to when I could.

I absolutely hate the new dashboard on the Alta HR, Please bring back the previous dashboard! I no longer even want to look at it, when before it was so motivating, to see the burst when you completed a goal, to see the person spin when you completed all the hourly steps!

This update is not user friendly. Please give the option to go back to old interface

I hate the new app. Especially the 'clock' that credits you with 250 steps per hours.  The old semi-circle was great for quickly checking if you had completed your 250 steps for the current hour because the current hour circle and all past circles were enlarged.  The new clock does not show which hour you are currently in.  The size of the clock blocks are not differentiated and if they are they are too small to see.  All the fonts are too small! Please bring back the classic look or I'm going to have to find a new fitness device whose app I can read on my iPhone.

This active hour problem is not related to the new dashboard but has been an issue for several months.

I've shelved my FitBit.  I see so much feedback in the forums about the new dashboard and sleep score, going back over a month, and still it's been unleashed with no option to revert -- and I didn't even have the opportunity to choose the update anyway!

I'm going back to using a wall calendar for workouts etc. and the Wii for weight and fitness tracking.

The people that designed the new app should be fired... both the online and the android versions are horrible... I've been wearing fitbit for some time now and the app is enough to make me look for another fitness watch soon

I can't stand the new look, it's terrible! The previous dashboard was much more user friendly, and customers should be able to choose the dashboard that works best for them. I am less motivated to use my Fitbit/app now, and quite honestly will likely move to a different activity tracker. Very disappointing, and obnoxious that the company won't listen to the requests of their customer base!

I’ve waited a few days before deciding whether or not I like the new dashboard on the mobile app so I’d have time to get used to it and wasn’t just reacting to its unfamiliarity. Well, I didn’t like it on day one and I hate it on day 4. The old style tiles was much easier to read at-a-glance, I do not like the scrolling down through a list, or the size of things as they are now. I feel like this Chang’e was made because someone believes they have to make changes, not because it was an improvement. I also miss the color changes in the tiles when I reached my goals. I enjoyed checking the old dashboard, but not the new one—feels more like a chore.
