Allow Fitbit app to correct sleep when manually logged

Fitbit sometimes does not capture all the the sleep info for the night. On the dashboard one could manually add the time and it would self correct. No longer possible.
As others have commented, I missed the dashboard the the ability to view on a larger screen.

Starting around the end of May, my Sense 2 has only recorded 0-3 hours of sleep each night instead of 6-8. It also has not been recording my oxygen saturation. I think either my Sense 2 has somehow failed (I bought it 9/30/2022) or there was a problem with a software update. I have restarted the Sense 2 and nothing has changed. What else can I try?

Fitbit hasn't been consistent with sleep tracking for a long time - if ever.  Fortunately, we can manually enter sleep data that it misses even on the otherwise inferior mobile app.

I agree. Denying access to the dashboard via our computers has seriously degraded the value of the Fitbit device. As a result, I am in the process of evaluating other fitness devices as a replacement.

This app is really starting to stink. No browser viewing anymore. Hasn't captured accurate sleep recently. Going apple or samsung but NOT FITBIT again.

I gave it a fair shake to not have the web version and it's not working for me.  I'm going back to myfitnesspal and am canceling my FitBit Premium subscription.

Fitbit is going down hill fast.

Customer service has been replaced with a self-help community driven Google product forum. These forums are staffed by retired people who spend their time volunteering to help users by troubleshooting and copying and pasting pre-written instructions from Google help pages. They aren't Google employees and they don't have contact with Google employees.

The Fitbit sleep charts are horrendous. They look awful, they're messy, and they're hard to read. The color scheme is questionably lacking colors and depressing. It's pale and uses a color palate that belongs on Windows 95.

The website no longer has a Dashboard. This is something I used everyday as having access to a phone isn't always possible, and the website display information not only in more depth, but also in more of a viewable screen. Garmin has a dashboard, I am not sure why Google is going to let a competitor with less money outshine it.

Lack of communication. There is zero communication from Google. We have several thousand of comments about the Dashboard and Sleep charts, and 0 (That's ZERO) replies/responses from Google.

Google has amply demonstrated that it doesn't care about veteran users leaving. It's got its monopoly and it will continue to groom more new users to provide perpetual, unregulated profit - unless We the People stand up for ourselves and force the relevant issues.

Commerce can be fair for all - but only when it's FORCED to be fair.  Same thing for elected officials, from California school boards to DC MoCs.

We made Fitbit review part of our daily life.  If we invest ONE TENTH of our fitness maintenance time in governance maintenance time, we'll start to see results faster than losing five pounds of fat, building one pound of muscle or cutting blood pressure in a month without going keto.

The EU exemplifies a model of sustainable commerce management that we can and should emulate.  The only way for our overpaid federal employees to do that is by US reminding THEM regularly - every month, every week, every day - what we require that they do.

Take it from a DC boy who learned only after leaving that representation is possible.  Make the possible probable and proven:  https://democracy.io

Extremely disappointed in Direction of Google/Fitbit.  Elimination of PC/Web dashboard is final nail in coffin.  As someone with poor vision I need to view dashboard on pc screen.  I've owned 2 fitbits, 1 Samsung, and 1 Apple.  I chose the Fitbit as best for me....But not anymore.  Google has driven this Comp into the dirt.

I am so disappointed in the dashboard changes. It is too tedious to log things on my phone. I have stopped Fitbit and am using MyFitnessPal. I believe I will be looking into another fitness device as well. NO LONGER A FAN OF FITBIT.

Since management was taken over, every change has been made [apparently] by drones who do not use the Fitbit product.  From originally eliminating the streak view, then modifying it to a position where you have to make multiple moves to get to it, to no longer having dashboard view available on a laptop the product is degraded.  Once this Fitbit dies, I have no intention of buying a replacement and have to wonder what will be degraded next.

Besides dropping the dashboard they make your downloaded data virtually impossible to work with.  What ever happened to common sense.  Putting your data in a json file minute by minute is absurd.  Couldn't they have put it in a comma delineated file by day.  Google and Fitbit suck!

I have used the Fitbit watch and app for over 7 years and it has helped me control my diabetes as well as survive and thrive during a bout with colon cancer and chemotherapy.  I've used the web app to log all my food every day for over 4 years as well as document my exercise over time.  It is impossible to continue this with the phone app.  It's a shame that your corporate greed has destroyed a truly valued product.  Time to move on the something else.

Been a Fitbit user since the original Fitbit One. Google destroyed Fitbit.
