Allow multiple devices on the same account (Sense/Versa series, Inspire, Charge & Luxe)

Be allowed to have both a Fitbit Versa and a Fitbit Ionic on the same account so you can easily switch between them.

I also own two fitbit charge HR's and would love to be able to have them on the same account.  I wanted two so I could change colours and have one on whilst the other charges.

Please consider this change as I think lots of Fitbit wearers would take advantage of this option.

Hi. Yes! PLEASE!!! I just bought a Blue Charge HR, I also have a Black Charge HR, I want to wear them/switch them depending on the color of my clothes, and I want both to sync data with my iPhone.. I just tried to 'Set Up a Device' with my Blue one, it said it would 'Replace Your Old Charge HR', and I did, now I'm not sure which one it's connected with, because the image on my iPhone still looks like a Black Charge HR -it would ALSO BE AWESOME if the colors reflected in the iOS app correctly -If the Blue one is connected, it should show a Blue charge hr. Thanks!!

Would love to be able to use multiple surges on my account. One for daily wear one for gym / exercise.

I agree that multiple tracker of the same type should be able to be used. With the different colors, and different uses (one for workout, one for daily wear) it would be helpful to be able to have different HR trackers on my account. Wish I knew this before I bought a second device!

Please pursue the option to allow more than 1 like device per account. I have 2 devices and would like to use them on 1 account. I have a black 1 I wear for work since I work in maintenance and get dirty. I would like to be able to wear a colored one after hours and on weekends without having a seperate account for each. I would like to be able to track my steps from 1 account and feel many others have silmiliar requests.

I just added a second charge hr so that I can change them out when one of them needs to be charged up. Would like to be able to have both of them on the same account. Right now I can only connect one to the app. The other is only on computer.

Very good idea to take into consideration @lynnandcats. I'm sure other users would like that as well. Any other ideas, feel free to post them in this board. Have a great day!

My husband bought me 2 new Charge HR's in different colors because he had read I could add multiple trackers to one account.  Unfortuantely, this is not possible with the same types of trackers.  It would be great to be able to switch between the HR's without having to replace them on the account each time.

Well darn it! I just received my new purple ChargeHR, and was trying to set it up as a second device. I'll be returning it to Fitbit unless they can make "two of the same device sync" work. That was DEFINITELY NOT obvious in any documentation. 😞 😞 Pooooor execution and service!

Fitbit needs to include the ability to have 2 Charge HRs added/synced to one account. I have 2 in different colors but cannot ad them both to my account.

I think the idea of being able to use more than 1 of the same tracker is a good one.  You may have a back-up in case the battery dies or different colors depending on outfits.  It needs to be wearable tech that can always be worn no matter the occassion and you should not have to sacrifice the data you get by having different trackers than the one you wanted and bought originally.

I've been using the (black) Surge for about 6 months now, and love it! I was excited when the Surge was finally released in orange, and got one, thinking I would always be able to have one charged, or be able to swap them out depending on my mood. I previously had my Surge and a Charge HR on my account, so I knew it was possible, but was shocked and dismayed when I tried to add the new Surge, and learned that I was restricted to having only one of each device type!! What's the point in selling them in different colors if you can't have more than one on your account?!? Please, please, please, fix this ASAP!!!

I agree with everyone.  I actually purchased an additional HR thinking I could leave one charging while I go about my business with the other and I am beyond frustrated.  Please let me use my multiple HR trackers! Smiley Surprised

Come on Fitbit.... Allowing us to add a second, third, fourth or more of the same device to an account should be a simple and quick fix. You already updated the process with being able to add another fitbit so why not keep your dedicated users dedicated? I love my HR Charge - I have recently received a new one (the Teal - how exciting) but found that I may have to return my gift because I cannot join it to my current account. This would be a GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT FROM FITBIT!

This must be implemented!! I have two Charge HR's different colors and I like to alternate between them depending on how I am dressed.

So this was started June 26. Lots of support for this feature (more than one of the same model tracker) but it seems like 6 months and 1-2 Fitbit software updates later that Fitbit has decided not to listen to consumers...it's a shame

You can remove one and add the other each time you want to switch but it's a royal pain. At least that way they are recorded on the same account. Hopefully Fitbit will add the ability to have both soon!!   Also remember that they go by number of votes so make sure you vote also for the original post in addition to your comments!!

Like all of the others, I got a second device (Charge HR). In my case, I got the second one in another color. I love my "plum" HR, and wanted to make sure I have a spare if it breaks or the battery dies. But I also believed that I would be able to use the 2 interchangeably. It is very disappointing that this is not the case. I would not have purchased a second one if I'd known that "now supporting multiple devices" only meant different KINDS of devices. To go through the entire replacement/setup process every time I want to switch is incredibly inconvenient. There are so many others with the same problem. I hope you find a solution soon.

I have a black Charge HR and, now, a teal Charge HR as well. I would LOVE to be able to sync them both to my account so that I can switch them out depending on my daily moods and outfits.

Unfortunately, the app will only support multiple devices of different models. It would be amazing if this limitation could be removed.

My Fitbit is, at least in part, an accessory as well as a health tracker, and variety is the spice of life!

Hear, hear, I concur! This is crazy, having to set up a "new" device every time I switch from one color HR to the other. Please make the software allow two of the same device to be synchronized. I was so disappointed to learn, when I got my second device, that it couldn't link to both of them.

Also, as someone pointed out earlier, be sure to VOTE for the original post, they decide what to implement based on the number of votes.

Fix it please. You should be able to sync two of the same model as they have different identifiers. Very disappointed. Will seek out another device to accomplish. Fitbit is not the only game in town.

you cannot.

it's possible to link 2 different devices, not 2 identical.
