Well, this is simple, there are at least 1756 of fitbit’s most loyal customers in this group because we are customers who returned to buy a second watch, who spent more money on fitbit and would be willing to spend more. Lot of us are saying clearly this is a bug, not a feature request, yet Fitbit’s continue to ignore “us” the loyal customers. I bought 4 fitbits since the 6 years ago, but I had to sell one because fitbit ignore our request. Instead, bought another brand sever times mentioned here and payed for a sync app. I am frustrated for needing two apps, so I would probably stick to one some time, and obviously it must be able to support two devices.

I know fitbit is trying as any other company to win more money through software services (which today clearly are useless), it is clearly the trend in the industry. But don’t forget that hardware was the one who brought you to the top.

I have the new Sense and also bought the Versa 3. Due to I forget a lot to charge the Sense cause of the length it lasts. So I also bought the Versa 3 as it says it lasts approximately 6 days. It would be a nice feature to be able to have atleast 2 devices you can have on your account so you may switch back and forth. Might increase sales also.

Hi @Mags1128, thanks for sharing this suggestion about having both your Sense and Versa 3 connected in the same Fitbit account with us. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. This will help us to make sure the suggestions don't get confused, or split a popular vote. What I don’t understand if so many people are requesting this then why the **ahem** don’t you just **ahem**ing do it. It makes good **ahem**ing business sense unless the people that run Fitbit are **ahem**ing **ahem**s, which we know is not the case since google bought Fitbit. Please stop **ahem**ing around and just make it happen already

I agree.  This used to be an option....not sure why it was removed.  I used to have a Flex 2 and a Charge 2 on my account at the same time and it was great to be able to switch back and forth between to the for certain occasions, like swimming in the ocean or wanting to wear another watch, etc.  The older Charge devices didn't like the salt water.

Now I have a Versa 3, still have my Flex 2, and would like to get a Luxe also.  I would love to be able to change them whenever I feel like it without deleting one to use the other.

I also would like not to loose any data (steps, cards in Fitbit Pay, watch faces, downloaded apps, etc) in the process.

I feel the same I am not going to use my sense to do work that I know could break it I would switch to my charge, a device I'm ok with destroying if on accident. needing to setup and un-setup is ridiculous.

Just got my charge 4 today and add into my account only to realised that it cannot stay with my Versa 2. Disappointed with this limitation and do hope the fitbit app can fix this. Else there is no other reason for my to continue buy fitbit devices as i can opt into other brand. Its no different for me to get other brand and create new account for that device.

If you read the history of these posts, this is a request that has been
made for many years with no meaningful reply from Fitbit. Good luck.

I currently have a versa lite and an inspire 2. I would love to be able to swap which one I am wearing but it is such a hassle to reinstall one or the other every day or two to change. It would be awesome to be able to have them both on the app and it would just log which ever one I was wearing. (IE the old days) Any chance of this happening?

Hi @macs943, thanks for sharing your feedback about having the option to sync your Versa Lite and your Inspire 2 in the same Fitbit account. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". To learn more about how Fitbit decides which suggestions get developed, visit our FAQs.

Hi @YojanaFitbit ,

The people asking for this are the people who have given Fitbit the most money purchasing multiple Fitbit's and as with most companies, Fitbit is more conscious of raking in new customers than taking proper care of those of us who have been most loyal and giving.  What is wrong with this picture?  You took away something we used and were happy with and gave us no notice.  Not very nice, and please don’t tell me to vote for this change.  I voted years ago, all to no avail.  Maybe you just don’t really want us as customers anymore.

@taz4352 Thank you for sharing your comments. I'd like to mention that the volume of suggestions can make it challenging to respond to every Feature Suggestion as quickly as we’d like. Additionally, some of the reasoning behind our decision-making may be proprietary which means we can’t always share the full picture with you, but we aim to share what we can.

We hope you understand that we take community opinions incredibly seriously, and that your ideas truly are a source of abundant and fruitful internal discussions around how we advance our product and service offerings.

All good points. Then why not be honest and state that this feature is not under consideration at this time instead of giving false hope? I see no reason for it being a secret if this is being worked on or not. All evidence suggests that it is not being worked on and people are sent here to placate them for some period of time until they get too frustrated to care.

This is just another non-answer answer. Lots of words that mean absolutely nothing. Hopefully something positive happens before my current device fails.

This used to be a feature.  Why did it go away?

Because Fitbit wants to make more money with the store and premium
services, they prioritized the store over the capability to sync more than
one device leaving all of us with a useless second watch.

They may never fix this since it has been years. We have to use multiple emails - one for each watch

I had no idea that this was an issue or that it has been discussed for so long ...but with a dead Ionic, and a new versa2, I decided it would be really handy to have a second versa2 to protect against future smart watch death, and have a back up if I forgot to charge the original. I ordered an extra and got it yesterday. Setting it up as a new device, I got no warning that my current versa2 would be taken off my account....it was I then discovered the consequences ...I just don't understand why.

I have been waiting for over two years. I just scratched my Charge 2. Not sure if I am going to stick with Fitbit.

@Trevbrock I had a charge hr and an ionic on the same account and this worked well for years; when the charge hr died the charge 4 looked like a nice upgrade. Lo and behold I can't have 2 fitbits on the same account anymore. No matter! The charge 4 has built in GPS and is waterproof, don't even need the big clunky ionic anymore... after a few weeks I find that the charge 4 GPS is crap and won't use my phone's GPS as advertised. GPS is critical for me so I go to fire up old faithful ionic, and the battery won't charge. The pleasant and responsive moderators are not able to offer any meaningful help and they actually seem to have forgotten that it was possible, up to very recently, to run more than more than one device per account. I've worn a fitbit essentially 24/7 since 2015 but I'm just fed up with them.

Indeed - it is so discouraging to be pushed away by a long loved vendor.

exactly, old feature, was working well and since degraded by fitbit R&D for new products, moderators nothing else to say as 'under consideration' thst us technically even wrong as it was a existing feature, removed

I’ve used fitbits for years having a flex, a blaze and a versa on my account all works at the same time and was extremely disappointed when I got a replacement versa for my old one that stopped working and a luxe to discover I can’t have both on my account at the same time. It shocks me to see the comments that Fitbit hasn’t got its acts together to allow multiple devices on the same account anymore. I work in the fitness business talking up your products however now I’m very disappointed and certainly hope you’ll get this fixed ASAP!!
