I too would like to have two Fitbit Charges linked to one account so that while one is charging I don't miss a beat.  I just received my replacement one and would still use my older one when doing dirty jobs.  Please, please, help us.  Thanks in advance

While wearing one, the other can be charging and no one would miss a beat.  I love the low battery email, but sometimes, I get the email just as my day is starting.  A second charge with a program that knows I am charging one while wearing the other would be great.

When I bought my Fitbit Surge I was very happy with the device, it exceeded all my expectations and opened my eyes to a new kind of fitness training; training by monitoring your heart.  I bought an extra Surge to use in my training program and now find that I cannot sync both devices to the same account.

(Two email address and two accounts would work but what a kludge)

I would like to keep the second Surge and set up my account so that I can more easily sync both devices on the same account; something that is not possible under the current Fitbit Cloud Server system.

I'm glad that someone agrees with me on this one. I thought I might be all alone with this idea. When will we see it executed?

Want to have two Charge HR on one account. I would like to wear one at work that can get beat up a little and one at home/weekends that will stay nice.

I too want to be able to use multiple Fitbit Charge units on the same account.  I don't want to lose all the data I had before to switch over to a different account in order to use it.  I have one that I use that is for rougher play/work and the other is my "good" one.  It isn't as beat up and so I want to be able to switch between them.  Please, please make this possible.

This sounds like a great idea @SunsetRunner. I was able to find other ideas requesting the same, so I'm sure other users would appreciate this.

I will send your request to our developers so they can take it into consideration. Thanks!

I would like to be able to have one spare Flex tracker charged and ready to swap out when my current tracker needs charging.  I love the idea of Multi-Tracker, but it limits use to only one of each style tracker. Right now, I find myself having to count all the steps I make while my tracker is charging. Please make this feature available to the Multi-Tracking capabilities.  Thank you!

I just purchased a 2nd Charge HR in black, already had one in plum, and when I attempted to add it to my account I discovered you can't have two of the same model device on your account.  I can't imaging I'm the only customer with the desire to have two colors of the same model.  After chatting with Elvy in customer support, it appears my only option is to establish a second account profile, which means I have to switch back and forth between accounts depending on which device I opt to wear on a given day.  I would think in this day and age of technology that you should be able to identify the device by serial number or MAC address, something that would allow for more than one of a specific model.  I can add one of each model available, but not two of the same model.  What about today, I wore my plum device for my workout this morning, now I wanted to switch to my black for the remainder of the day, my activity won't sync.  Please identify a solution for those of us with this situation.

My wife and I each purchased a Fitbit Charge HR. We share an email account. Now find we can only set up one device with that email address. Our shared email has served us well for many years. It seems ridiculous to set up a whole separate, new email account just to be able to use the features on the second device.

I suggest Fitbit rework their system to allow the use of more than one device with the same email address. This might be done by accepting a separate password for each device? Really don't care how it's done, but it most definitely should be done.

I was just about to post a similar request only related to the Charge HR.  My battery life is pretty poor and it seems to me that having one always on the charger and one on my wrist would be an acceptable solution to the battery life issue.  Can't do it though!  It seems to me that the things probably send some sort of serial number like thing so that the site can tell who the incoming data is for so it should not be too hard for them to set this up.  It should be a small change to the framework that they alreay have to support two trackers already as long as they are different. Here is hoping that the engineering team is listening.

More support! YEAH! I haven't heard anything about adding seconds or day of the week to the clock face yet. Soon hopefully.

If you use Gmail for your email you can use "alternate" email address for the same account.

If your email address is dad@gmail.com, you can use "dad+mom@gmail.com" and any email sent to it will go to your dad@gmail.com account. (You can put anything you want after the + sign, which can be used to filter the emails to a folder or whatever.)

Other email services offer similar functionality.

I want to use two Charge HRs. I love the charge HR, I think it is the best fitbit device. I have been using fitbit since the orginal fitbit. I own the black HR unit but would love  plum or teal unit. But want to be able to swap. Seems like simple idea to me. Let's make it happen

I agree!!!  This has huge benefits in the education world by allowing PE teachers to assess students based on heart rates.

Please find a way to let us sync more than one tracker of the same type - like others mentioned, short battery life of my charge HR leads me to have to plug it in a lot. Often, I neglect to put it back it on for days.

I had had a Charge as well, which served as intermediary. However, the pop-off nature of that bracelet has caused it to disappear off my arm. It'd be nice to have some way to have trackers let us know where they are.

Please add this feature!!!  With the different charge HR colors and no option to change the strap like the flex this feature is a must.  I bought a plum one and now will have to send it back as I just wanted it as another color option.  Didn't want to swap it out.  As you add more colors you should move this up the feature request list as it will result in more sale for fitbit!!

Please add support for multiple Charge Hr devices since more colors have been added. You are losing out on the opportunity for more sales by limiting only one at a time. I had to return a device today for this reason. Multiple device support should be a cross and within all device types.

Completely agree. If you cant change the band then you should be able to have multiples

I just bought a Blue Charge HR, I also have a Black Charge HR, I will wear them/switch them depending on the color of my clothes, and I want both to sync data with my iPhone.. Can anyone please advise how I can setup two Fitbit Charge HR's with one account? With my Black Charge HR having been connected for 4 weeks, I just tried to 'Set Up a Device' with my Blue one, it said it would 'Replace Your Old Charge HR', and I did, now I'm not sure which one it's connected with, because the image on my iPhone still looks like a Black Charge HR -are the colors supposed to reflect correctly? If the Blue one is connected, should I be seeing a Blue one in the iOS app? Thanks!

I agree.  For those of us who like the device we already have, but appreciate being able to coordinate with our clothing, being able to have more than one of the same device would be supremely helpful.  For example, I have the Charge HR, I don't want a device without the HR feature, but the Surge is unneccessory for me and too big.  PLEASE allow more than one of the same device.  I was getting ready to purchase another Charge HR, but thankfully came across this before I did.

I would even not limit it to 2 of the same device.  For those of us who think the model they have is the right one for them and are fashion forward, we may even decide to purchase more than two!  Worn 24/7, this has to be able to integrate with our everyday outfits, and just like I like to match jewelry or a watch to my outfit, I would want to do the same with my device.  I currently have it in black since I wanted most neutral, but I would still love the blue.  And if a nuetral/nude color came out, or a white, I would also purchase those!  Or gold or silver.
