Allow night shift reminders to move (or customized hours)

Please allow night shift hours to be selected for reminders to move. I work 7p to 7a at the hospital and the current feature only allows half of my shift to be selected. It doesn't recognize those 12 hours as consecutive hours. It would also be helpful to select different time frames for different days. I work nights 3 days a week, but the rest of the week I am awake and active during the day. I'd like to customize the reminders for certain hours on specified days.

Could you possible make my Inspire HR do an hourly vibrate?

I have a manual night job and it would be nice to know when each hour is reached.

I found a similar post but it was from 2015... I work shift work and would love to be able to customize my notification hours for my fitbit to match my work schedule (8 day schedule, 4 on, 4 off with nights in there somewhere). This would allow me to set my fitbit to send me reminders to move on night shifts, and not interrupt my sleep when sleeping during the day.

Right now, there is a reminder to move that can be set between 5 to 14 hours, from 1 to 7 days per week.  However, it would be nice if we could add reminders for different days.  The hourly steps mostly applies to people sitting in an office or school for hours of the day, but that typically doesn't happen seven days of the week. People set the time according to a work schedule, and wake up later in the day on weekends resulting in missed hours. This also doesn't apply to people who work shift work. So unless we go into the app and make adjustments on a daily basis, steps are missed if one day differs from the other or steps are missed on weekends, due to not having to get up very early for work.

I work a shift that ends after Midnight and I usually end my "day" at 2:30 AM when I go to bed. When I wake up at 9:30 AM, all the steps and calories that took place after midnight are loaded into my new "day". This makes it very difficult to even bother trying to track using the FitBit. Many people work non traditional hours and their daily activities cross over into the next calendar day before the retire for the night. This is especially true for Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Military Personnel and other "Public Safety" workers who are required to keep fit and really need to use the FitBit products! Please create a way to allow us to change our day starting time, maybe even for each day of the week (this solves the issue for people having issues with their weekend tracking) or if that is not possible, create a way for the sleep tracker to automatically reset the day after so many consecutive hours of sleep?

There needs to be an option to change the activity hours to night time, I work nights, so it is more or less useless to me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with a fitbit working nights.

I know that the Fitbit resets everyday at midnight which is fine....but can it continue to track our movement alerts and go on the corresponding day? The Fitbit takes take into account night workers. I work from 10pm to 5am so all the movement alerts aren't setup for those hours?

The hourly activity should be customized for people who work at night. Some days my active hours are at night time since I work at night. At this time active hours is during the day hours 8am to 10 pm and many of those hours I am sleeping since I work at night. So my suggestion is make it that the person can put any hours of the 24 hours as active. Thank you.

I am a night shift nurse and work 7pm to 7am.  I would really like to have my active hours match up with my work shift but as of now I am unable to do so.

I work nights so I tend to not activate this feature.

Being able to quickly change the settings from a night shift day, and a non working day would be great.

I work very inconsistent hours at my job. Some days 4-1, some 9-5, some 1-9:30. It would be amazing if I could set my active hours for each day and not have it affect the rest of my days. I definitely get my active hours in, but since it’s different times every day and every week, some days don’t mesh with the time frame. So like Monday set the active hours to 9-5 and then Tuesday 12-8 and so on. If I change the active hours on one day, it effects all of the data previous to it.  Not everyone has a consistent sleep/work/life schedule but still stay active for 8 hours at a time.

I work night shift, and my days off change every two weeks, on my days off I keep a regular “day” schedule and sleep at night. It would be nice if you had a mode where you could have reminders to move all night as well as the premium features for a night shift mode, as well ask change the features to days when it was a person’s day off and set reminders to “go to bed”.

I'd love an option for my fit bit to be able to recognise night shift, that i can turn on when I'm on nights, that knows why I'm sleeping during during the day and tracks my activity over a night shift, tracks my heart rate and the physical effect of a night on my sleep and heart rate ect

I agree with this!!!

You see I work night shifts so having my calories split makes it a Hassel to keep track of calories.

So I'd like to suggest y'all get a night life mode or better yet allow user's to manually input what time to cut there info .

Cuz I work from 9pm to 6 am making the calories a bit harder to keep track of.
