Allow us to cast Premium workouts from Android app to TV

Please restore the ability to cast workouts to a TV from the Android phone app. The workouts aren't much use on a phone screen and that makes Fitbit Premium worthless to me.

Absolutely agree this feature needs to be reinstated. No idea why such a useful feature would be removed in the first place. The Google store page for Fitbit Premium still lists cast to TV as a feature- you're advertising it as a feature so reinstate it!

It is maddening that Fitbit would remove the ability to cast a screen from a phone or tablet without any communication to the end users. How is one to follow along with a Fitbit Premium workout while watching a tiny screen???!

Please restore the screen cast functionality!

Yeah this was literally the main thing I used in the Fitbit app. Support said the feature has been removed. Very disappointing to hear.

Hi there, is there any update on the inability to cast Fitbit exercise programs via Android devices? From all accounts it's the main reason the majority of users have a Premium subscription.  I've contacted the Help Desk to no avail ie I was given the runaround like everyone else. I'm wondering if it's a precursor to shutting down the Fitbit app? Either way, a refund on my remaining Premium subscription would be appreciated as it's basically useless without the ability to cast.

This function was available earlier in 2024 - I was using it daily.  It's disappointing that Google has disabled this fantastic feature.  I just got back on and found it gone!  It's useless to me now, especially since I have to watch on a small phone screen.  I want this feature back and available, otherwise I will not renew as it's useless without casting to TV using Android phone.

Completely agree MazzaL. Hopefully this will be sorted soon but I'm not confident it will be in our favour.

You need to restore screencasting from the Android app to a TV, or I will be ending my subscription to Premium.

We’re very happy to let you know that this has been released on the Fitbit app. Our team has released the 4.35 version in which you'll be able to cast your Premium workouts as you did before. If you haven't done so, please check the Play Store and update the Fitbit app as soon as possible to receive the fix.
