Allow us to create custom meals on Fitbit app

Given that the community has been asking for this for 10 years, and now you will no longer have access to "create a meal" via the web version of the dashboard, it's making it harder for me to a fan and supporter of Fitbit, and I've been a fan for more than a decade. Please have the app have at least the same features as the web version (e.g., create a meal), but since it doesn't already exist, add the feature for # of servings to make our lives easier please!

This is a two-fold feedback. For one, logging meals was far more convenient for me on a desktop site rather than my app. I would rather use the screen I'm already using to work. But even if we can't have that, then allow us to make custom meals on the app so we can easily reuse our custom recipes.

It's really frustrating that with this move you've actively made a product that we all paid for worse by removing a feature we have come to rely on. It's bad enough that the "Recent" foods tab is never accurate, but now you've taken away the ability for us to one-click add a meal that we eat all the time! I have a few meals still saved from when the online Dashboard was operational, but as time goes on and those meals change (e.g. the yogurt I used to eat every morning is no longer sold at my grocery store, so I've had to change products) it's impossible to update those old meals, forcing me to manually add items one by one. This is a significant time increase, and it's frustrating to have had the ability to do something easily taken away.

Please, please, please add the ability to create/modify/remove custom meals in the app (or just give us the dashboard back)!

I use this site on my laptop, but Google really needs to integrate it into
the app. Finding a work around shouldn’t be up to us!

Google's lack of responsiveness to user needs is stunning. I've been
reading user feedback on this subject since July and all we get from Google
is--crickets.

Every column Recent, Favorites, Custom and My Foods has been either
disabled or useless. As a result I've come to the conclusion that Google
has no commitment to Fitbit.

Please bring back the dashboard for pc or create a new tab in the app where I can add my ingredients to a recipe and it breaks down the nutrients content for me. I miss the being able to do that on the dashboard.

It would be very beneficial to have the ability to add custom recipes to the app.

Hugely second this. Seems like any awful oversight to omit something so fundamental from a fitness app.

Every time I come to these forums now it's to register my disappointment with Fitbits product or services, and here we are again.

The bizarre decision to remove access to the web dashboard without mirroring its functionality within the Fitbit app is just another example of Fitbit not caring for its customers.

It's the old *"under new management syndrome"*. I suspect Google just
doesn't care about using web based products.

It's been eight months since they forced the change and none of the issues
(there are many) have been addressed.

The only reason I'm still using Fitbit is inertia.

Noom and MyFitnessPal allow me to create a custom meal, but not Fitbit now that the website no longer exists.  I want to create a custom meal, such as a 6 ingredient smoothie, so I don't have to enter each ingredient separately.  Please bring back the web version or add this feature to the FitBit app.

In addition to wanting the feature to create meals in the app (like we used to be able to do on the web version), I would also like the option to copy a food from one day to another or even move food from one day to another (like if we put something on the wrong day). We can move food from one meal to another on the same day, but these other two features would save so much time in logging food, and saving time will encourage actually doing it.

100% this needs to be a feature. It's so frustrating having to either add everything altogether as I make a recipe or just ballpark it and only go for the rough calorie amount. It feels like it would be an easy enough change to bring it back. I'm legitimately looking at other trackers that have this functionality if this doesn't come back.

It's hard to believe FitBit would be so unresponsive. Nine months and
counting and nothing but crickets. None of the functionality from the web
based program was duplicated. Insanity.

The "Create a Meal" feature lets users combine ingredients into one saved meal for easy tracking. With the website shutting down in July 2024, this function was lost as it's not in the app. Manually logging each ingredient is time-consuming. Please add this feature to the Fitbit app to keep meal tracking efficient and user-friendly.
