Now that the Dashboard is eliminated, there is no way to add or edit favorite foods, which are listed as My Foods on the Android app. Eliminating the Dashboard is a loss in useability.

I agree; there is no way to edit the "My Foods" list. I use it several times a day. This helped me lose weight in the past - the ability to easily enter my foods and plan in advance. But the Foods in the app under My Foods did not all translate and delete as I deleted some from the dashboard version.
I'm sure that disabling the ability to use the dashboard was done to save money, but they should have figured this out first. I wonder how many of the Google or Fitbit staff/developers have been using the app or the dashboard.
Bring back the DASHBOARD. This is part of why I have not renewed my Premium membership; I find it too costly.
The "recent" foods do not update as well. I was told that in the meantime that I can enter a new food under "Custom Foods." Really, enter all the dietary info. Just fix it.

I just recently started logging my food again, and the lack of a 'favorites' list, the elimination of the ability to use the 'my foods' list, and the limitations of the 'frequent' or 'recent' lists are ridiculous. These are simple, standard functions available in almost every app and shopping experience. The programming cannot be that difficult for an organization like Google.
Do you plan to relaunch, upgrade, or make this available in the next 3-6 months? If not, it would be good to know so I can stop wasting time with this 'feature' of Fitbit & find another, more user-friendly way to log my food.
A suggestion in the same vein, you should consider adding more than caloric intake & macronutrients info in this feature of the app. I don't care that much about tracking my calories. I log my food specifically from a nutritional perspective; how much cholesterol am I taking in? fiber? sugar? The macronutrients info is a start, but it's not detailed enough.
Thanks for reading! Hope to see some changes & upgrades soon.
