Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Agree with everything everyone else is saying about this new feature. I didn't want it. I didn't ask for it. And I find it demoralizing and annoying.

I don't hate the cardio load feature but stop with shame notification of telling me I need 96 cardio load. Seriously.  I was overtraining and now injured.  I walked 1hr12min today. I was doing an insane amount before.  I said maintain, not improve. Why don't you add a sick/injured button choice to check. Stop making me have to X out the cardio load prompt.  Especially if I nailed all my goals today. And why should my load be 96.

Coming back to comment again.  I’ve also tried posting on socials and just get redirected here.  Others have had their comments deleted.  The latest update didn’t fix this issue and the lack of real response shows that this company is tone deaf.  I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years, I can ignore certain things, but this “feature” has negatively impacted my mood every time I open the app.  The “X” sometimes doesn’t even close.  I chose Fitbit over other options for a reason, but this feature, or rather DEFECT, that can’t be turned off has sent me looking for other options.  Is anyone at Fitbit/Google listening?  Is there a human behind that Moderator title??

Totally agree. It has been weeks with hundreds of comments. They should
turn it off and then look for a fix - or just leave it off. I loved my
fitbit until this new feature and it is enough to push me into finding
another brand.

I F-ING HATE CARDIO LOAD! It makes no sense and I'm not able to remove it from my app. Stop adding sh-t that nobody asked for!!!

Agree. Very annoying. Even when switched off I still get these annoying negative nudges. And I don't want or need this feature. I want my steps and heartrate on top of the list and not have to x out this irritating message

Where is Fitbit’s response to this?

The constant cardio load reminder is detrimental to workout routines. I'm always either way over or under the suggested load.

There needs to be a way to turn off the annoying constant notifications.

Cardio load is about ready to make me switch to Garmin. I hate this feature because I cannot get rid of the notifications. I have to X it each time.

This cardio load does nothing but tell me to do 2 hr of cardio a day. It's actually dangerous and I think FitBit should be responsible for people that hurt themselves following its guidelines on cardio load, especially since we can't remove this DANGEROUS feature.

This feature is really pi$$ing me off!! How ridiculous that we can’t get rid of it. I find it shaming, and have zero interest in it, let alone having it above all the stats that are most important to me.

Another vote for the optional removal of ‘cardio load’ from the Fitbit app it shows everything I go on the app & negatively reminds me that I haven’t done any exercise today (and no it doesn’t make me go & do it 🙄) Fitbit home page on the app is great as it can be personalised as we are all individuals and this ‘cardio load’ thing should be an ‘optional’ thing to see on there and not compulsory to see every single tine one opens the app. Please amend in the next update Fitbit 🙏

I'm curious why is there a community forum when Fitbit or their reviewers don't read the complaints????

Adding another voice in hopes that Fitbit listens. I am not using this device for “training.” I’m using it to track my activity and sleep. I’ve continued buying Fitbit devices through several generations because the continuity of my data is important to me, but I’m *just so tired* of these “smart” features that try to simplify the extraordinarily complex concept of human health into a few “scores” based on a very few easily measurable factors. I don’t want a “cardio load” measurement and I certainly don’t want a buggy app to insist that “you’re at risk of undertraining, you lazy lump!” ESPECIALLY if then, after I close the mandatory popup, it’s immediately replaced by one that says “You’ve been working hard, time to take it easy!”…. if the popup closes at all, which often it doesn’t. This “feature” is meaningless, it misses the point, *and* it was poorly implemented. Please let your users turn it off if you don’t eliminate it entirely.

How many people need to ask for this to be fixed?

@Kilmz They do not want to get rid of it. It is basically their version of the cyber truck. Completely worthless but they're still acting like it is amazing

I read the FAQs about how these suggestions are considered. And I suspect we'll be ignored.

"Scale of demand. It might seem like a lot of members want a Feature to be developed but it’s useful to bear scale in mind here. For example, we have over 500,000 (as of summer 2017) registered community members, so an idea with 500 votes actually represents a small percentage of our community and an even smaller subset of the total global Fitbit user population. That isn’t to say that these voices aren’t important, see more in the paragraph below." (Didn't copy the rest...)

There are less than 500 votes, so by their own example here, it's not enough. But surely if there is more negative feedback on this "feature" than positive, that should tell them something??

Sorry if I missed it, but how do I actively complain about this feature (only here?). I upvoted the comment, but would love to do more. This message is driving me nuts. Piss off. I deliberately haven't entered too much personal information on this app so there's no way it should be telling me what my cardio load should be. I'll decide that, thanks.

I hate the cardio load "tip". Historically, I have been terrible at exercising but for about a year now I've finally figured out a routine that works to keep me more active. Then this stupid cardio load "feature" appears and constantly tells me that I'm not doing good enough. It makes me want to give up sometimes. Get rid of this stupid popup if the card is turned off. What a **ahem**ty feature.

More useless metrics. Give me a way to remove it, please. And while you're at it, give me a way to remove "mindfulness," water consumption, and most of the other stuff that litters the screen. Thanks.

got rid of all that stuff, never mind...

Are Fitbit developers trying to be funny, deluded or just arrogant. I will not tolerate an app scolding me for what an algorithm fondly calculates as under-training. Delete this incredibly annoying and intrusive messaging. Even worse you frequently can't dismiss it.  I don't believe there is any need to 'gather feedback'. A gerbil could figure out this should be user activated to not. If there are users out there who need an app to order them about, let them do that. Don't treat everyone as a fool.

Weird that I hit my cardio load target every day and yet am still under training according to the app's daily pop-up message. Please get rid of this, it makes no sense.
