Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Yet another +1 on wanting to remove cardio load. I've had a Fitbit for 6+ years and this is the first thing that's annoyed me enough to log into these forums.

I find it so stressful that every time I open my app it says I’m either ‘at risk of overtraining’ or ‘under training’. I have deselected the readiness and cardio load features but the notifications still show up every time. there is never a ‘way to go’ or ‘you’re on target’ it’s always something negative and it’s so annoying!

I want these pop up tiles to be removed or at least have an option to deactivate them. It’s really annoying and has negatively impacted my experience with the Fitbit. It makes me not want to open or use the app because I’m going to be told I’m either over or under doing it.

I hate it. Can’t get rid of it even by pressing x. Surely all notifications should be optional. It just acts as an irritant.

Please allow to completely remove the cardio load and inflammation it provides. It is scaring me to workout.

Another vote to allow Cardio Load to be completely ignored: deleting the data makes it go away for a week or two, but as soon as it builds up more data, the annoying prompts reappear

I use this as a fitness tracker, not a fitness motivation, and these messages actually make me less likely to workout than more likely.

If cardio load is turned off, I should not see anything to do with cardio load on the app: please fix or this will be another ex-Fitbit user

Agree. Telling me to move, does it know that I am sick. Telling me not to work out. I am better and will work out!

Fitbit/Google - you can see this is something people feel strongly about. Why are you ignoring us?

This feature is terrible. The tone is awful and even if it were cheerful/encouraging, which it isn't in the slightest, I do not want it. I just want to look at what I've done, receive the information with a glance at my dashboard, and go on with my day. I don't want this snotty faux coach tone on my phone. The "x" to close the message doesn't even work most of the time. I hate it with a purple passion. If it doesn't go away, I'll switch fitness products. It's a deep, visceral hatred of this feature. Please remove it or allow it to be removed permanently. I cannot emphasize enough how horrid it is.

Please give us the option of turning off the cardio load pop ups.  I don't use the cardio load features, and I don't want cardio load pop ups filling up my screen so I can't see the things that do matter to me.

Please allow us to remove cardio load reminders. I'm recovering from a pretty bad knee/quad injury from over exercising because I kept wanting to meet the cardio load number. And now I keep seeing the high cardio numbers with the passive aggressive reminders that I need to get moving or I'm at risk of under training :(.

It's really disheartening and it's not been great for my mental (or physical) health :(.

Thank you!!!

I'm not sure what I did, but I'm not seeing the Cardio Load message.
Fingers crossed it sticks!

Same. I noticed this morning - no annoying message about under or over
training. There hasn't been an app update so I'm assuming the messages are
controlled at the server end.

I hate this cardio load feature- I can’t even close it with the X!  Makes me hate my Fitbit 😞

I keep deleting the cardio load data which stops the target loads for a bit. Then today every single time I open the app it tells me what I need to hit for the day. Keep "x"ing out, well now I have hit some arbitrary goal, it has congratulated me and increased it! I DON'T want it. I decide my targets not Google/Fitbit. Give us the option to have nothing to do with this. My body, my fitness....NOT YOURS!!!

Any progress on this please? I hate this function so much! Half the time, I can't make it disappear and then other times, when it's telling me I have been over training, I close the dialogue for it to then reappear a nanosecond later telling me I'm being lazy and I need to increase my cardio load! It gets in the way of the other progress stats and I am growing increasingly frustrated by this stupid feature that can't be turned off!!

No, I don't wear it. Today I wasn't wearing it then I looked it up and had
13 zone min. How it has 13 zone min when I was not wearing it.

Just go by old fashion way, It was too much for me anyway. I do not want to
wear anything, just see how I feel and how much I want to workout.
I am getting off the community too.

best of luck

This has been detrimental to me working out. Don't want to check my stats on the app because of that awful notification . Please fix it

The annoying message briefly disappeared for a couple of days but sadly has reappeared.

It seems Fitbit aren't listening and don't care about their users.

I would like to see the science behind the calculation of cardio load. I don't want targets set by Fitbit. Once I am confident in the data and the science behind I want to be able to set my own goals.

I exercise daily including three intensive workouts a week at the gym, mainly weights but with a large amount of cardio. On gym days my active zone minutes are usually around 130 to 150. I'm 70, pretty healthy, not overweight but with arthritis in one of my knees. I know better what I am physically capable of on a daily basis than some algorithm. The algorithm appears t

It's annoying to be told one day to slow down and the next day to be told I'm slacking. AS (Artificial Stupidity) not AI!

I like my Pixel 3 watch but unless the Fitbit side improves I will be looking at alternatives.

I also vote no on mandatory, irrelevant messages. They are not always "you need to train more." Sometimes they are "you are over training." Since I do the same workout 4-5 times a week and have rest days as needed, I don't understand where they even get the info. But I hate opening my app to check things now.

Adding my vote (in addition to requesting direct through app feedback). It's become a regular thing for me, I exercise for two or more hours, at least an hour of vigorous exercise, and the app says this isn't enough. Hear, hear to this being demoralizing, abusive, offensive, and completely unnecessary. Fitbit when will you take action?! Keep the option, fine, but let us turn it off!

I would love to see a feature where we could personalize the speed for our treadmill workouts on the watch. The distances recorded for treadmill workouts are terribly inaccurate. That said, if we could set the speed at the start of a workout, then the math would already be there when the workout is stopped via the watch to then be recorded in the app.

Just a thought!

It seems like such a simple programming fix to disable Cardio Load notifications when the user disables the option in the app, but apparently the Google Fitbit team seems to revel in its customers' misery or they'd have fixed it by now. I get messages that state I'm overtraining one day but the next morning after a night of sleep, it says I'm undertraining.

Interestingly, the only time I don't get a notification is when my Readiness level is low. I was curious to see what it would say, but a message never pops up during this status.

Please get rid of this. It's annoying and broken.

Interesting to see a summary of all of the posts so far. It is strange that no one from Fitbit has responded. One thing I thought of was to start making comments about the issue(s) on Google. It does seem that many stores, restaurants etc do reply to users Google reviews. Maybe that might be a way to get someones attention.

yes, robots don't know what we are talking about. Post on Google or on
Fitbit website as review. You will get a response immediately.
