Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Agreed! Please give us an option to remove the cardio load and especially the prompts. The prompts are very condescending and they feel demotivating. The prompts are very negatively worded and usually scold me no matter my activity for the day, and they can't be adjusted to fit my plans or daily routine. If I'm ill or for other reasons can't work out I'm being scolded. If I need to to do hard physical work (can't just ignore a meter of snow blocking the road to my house), I'm also being scolded. If a choice to turn off the prompts isn't added, I'm tempted to stop using my fitbit altogether.

Agree with all those saying remove this target goal waste of space. When I occasionally read it (rather than immediately closing message) it is not even very accurate based on recent activities! I already turned off "cadioload" option as it was always on top and was basically meaningless to me.

How many unhappy users does Fitbit/ Google need to do something about cardio load prompts??? It is really sad that Fitbit has fallen so far since Google bought the company.  Do you know that Google company support or service has one star and a lot to reviews wanted to give them zero stars.

I had to come back to this thread to say that I removed my Fitbit maybe a week ago. I only popped it back on once for the alarm vibration function (I prefer it to my alarm clock).  I must say that it’s rather liberating and I’m listening to my body more.

For those saying that we should go to social media, when I looked on X , people were just getting told to comment here.

Agree! I am active and have a routine that feels right for me and works well with consideration for other life factors. I don't need this prompt every time I log into the app. It is so off base and is unnecessarily creating a negative space. Allow us to choose please!

I chatted with the help desk and they told me I couldn't disable this "feature". I have been struggling with low energy due to my thyroid and the app shaming me because I simply don't have the energy to workout. There should be an option to get rid of this message permanently. My Fitbit is near the end of it's life and this WILL impact whether I buy another Fitbit.

Just adding my voice to agree with this suggestion - and to thank the person who first posted it. This prompt appears whenever I open my app and whenever I return to or refresh the home screen. It blocks the information that I want to see and - as an autistic person - is causing me considerable distress. This is exasperated further by the unreliability of the delete icon. Please can an option to remove this prompt by added for users who don't like or want it. Or, at the very least, could the app at least remember when a user dismisses it and not keep bombarding them with it continually within the same session. Many thanks.

I simply stopped logging into my Fitbit app because of this nonsense.

I sent the moderator a personal message asking for a concrete answer to what Fitbit is doing or going to do about the shameful cardio load prompt. I will be shocked if I get a response. Also today is the day that customer support said there will be an update on this issue.

Totally agree! So distracting! I keep hitting the X but everytime I sync it just keeps coming back, covering up the rest of my tiles so I can't see them at a glance now without having to scroll past this notification/prompt.  I have cardio load turned off and tried deleting all my cardio load data (as per Google searches), but it still returns. Please make it go away!

Dear Fitbit your cadioload banner is so so so annoying. I do a gentle bike ride into work in the morning and it’s telling me I need to stop because the cardio load is too much. Absolutely not!

I just want to add my request to be able to permanently disable this stupid “Ready to hit your target” pop up. As someone who has worked hard to improve my relationship with my body it is REALLY unhelpful to have that pop up every day. And frankly it doesn’t feel accurate. So please allow us to remove it.

If you read an earlier post a person stated that they talked with customer support and they said there would be an update today on how to remove the cardio load prompt.  Fitbit customer support has gone to crap after Google bought Fitbit.

Agreed. Annoying, condescending, shaming, and an Apple watch is looking much more attractive. Why can’t we turn off that stupid, irritating, uninformed “feature”?

Google bought Fitbit? That explains a lot!  And is very disappointing.

This cardio load is for serious atheletes. I do not want physical damage to my heart. I walk 10k a day and in my 70s. That is enough. The app does not know my medical issues.

I was told yesterday that they are working on a fix.

It really is the most ridiculous feature. It's not even internally consistent with their own software. This morning my FitBit told me to "take it easy" because it said I was overtraining, and at the same time, it said my readiness was "high." Go figure.

I second this motion. Very annoying prompt

This has been driving me crazy, for the first time this morning it wasn’t there! Hopefully that’s it sorted.

Agree! I turned off the cardio load because it’s actually demotivating. It says I’m overtraining on HIIT days or under-training on rest days, but I’m definitely doing what I consider best for me and I don’t want to see it, but the pop up comes up every time I open the app. So annoying!

Agree. This is annoying as heck. It should go away when you turn off the cardio load card at the very least.

Fitbit, you have seriously screwed up with this Cardio Load notification! Every time I open the app I see "you've been at risk of undertraining recently", and I feel like I've been shamed. I'm a 65 year old woman recovering from a broken foot, and I'm trying my best. It's demoralizing and frustrating. The cardio load metric is turned off on my customize page, but I still get the constant notifications. Fitbit's response is "we don't have a way to turn off the cardio load notifications...The best place to make your voice heard is the Product Feedback board on our community." So here I am - has my voice been heard??

The radio silence from Fitbit/Google on this thread is truly disappointing. It's obviously a feature people have strong opinions on, and a few people have received opposing information. It's surely not difficult to be upfront. Yes or no, will this dumb feature ever be able to be completely disabled?
