Hi @LjB77 - there is an option to change vibration level in the watch settings (though it seems to make little difference) but it would seem quite logical to add the option to turn it off for normal use and leave it on for only system use

You allow users to select the vibration strength, but not disable completely. I want the choice to enable/disable vibration for touch screen and/or notifications, and choose the strength.

Yes yes and yes. Incessant notifications and vibrations are very irritating. I can get most of the notifications to stop except for the milestones which cannot be set, even using the arbitrarily high threshold trick, and of course they vibrate automatically so the more active you are the more annoying the vibrations.

I'm probably going to wait till this Fitbit dies, usually some sort of battery overheating problem, they only last between 12 and 24 months, and then I'm going to switch to Garmin.

I just keep mine on sleep all the time. This stops most vibrations. Not ideal as you can no longer use it as a smart watch, but it will do till I can buy a new watch that doesn't vibrate

Sleep mode does NOT stop all vibrations, which is what users have been
asking for. I'm switching out since now Google is forcing users to have a
Gmail add to keep using fitbit watches. I am, in fact, divesting from all
things Google and going to European providers that have better protections
for your privacy.
