Dear Fitbit Moderator,

Good day,

I have been a fitbit user since 2014 and i have bought several fitbit trackers over the years past. Last tracker was the charge2 and yesterday i have bought the versa2 black carbon.

To my surprise, i have discovered that such an advanced smartwatch/fitness tracker made in 2020 doesn't have the arabic language support, whilst that wasn't acceptable in the year 2010, how can it be now? I am not talking about the arabic language for the operating system of the watch, i am referring to the arabic language support when receiving notification in arabic character, and that shouldn't be any difficult to solve in a matter of DAYS for a company as big as Fitbit, but the shocking part of this story is that it has been under consideration from 2018, oh come Fitbit team, are you kidding the community with this? If Fitbit doesn't sort this out ASAP, then they should rename the versa 2 from smartwatch to just a watch.

PS: i had this problem on my charge2, but it never bothered me as the charge2 is not considered a smartwatch much like a fitness tracker with a small display, but in the case of the versa2 it's a shame that this essential feature was not implemented yet.

Hoping that none of the Fitbit moderator will post something automated that has no use or benefits for the Fitbit community, what i really hope is a post that actually put an end for this little issue with the exact timeframe.

Thanks.

Today is the 10th. of June 2020 and still there's no indication on whether there'll be an update on adding Arabic Language support at least  for notification. This means to me that there'll be no versa 3 .🤔

I bought fitbit versa 2 for my self and another one for my sister, and i was so so so happy but i was shocked later on when I discovered that it doesn’t support arabic language. The text is appearing in this way “???????”. So Kindly, please add the arabic language as fast as possible

Please we need you to respect, consider and give attention to our Arabic language. I was so excited to buy Fitbit from a long time and when I finally bought it it was such a disappointment for me.

Any update ?!

We need to add arabic language to the notifications!

Submitting request or adding comments here apparently does not trigger anything in the Fitbit tech department. We probably need to request this somewhere else in social media or through a petition over MoveOne or any other media that will get our voice heard. I which I could just get a refund; I would’t even bother! It’s ridiculous that this called smart watch!

Lol. This must be a joke? I was looking how to solve unreadable arabic notification and found this post. Come one fitbit we are in 2020 and Arabic is one of the most spoken language in the world and still no support? I should have bought an Apple watch. Avoiding future products.

Of course with the same price , I could have bought samsung Active 2 and
I'll be able to answer calls and read and write arabic language

Hello. You have an application as well as very excellent hours and surahs, but why haven't you added the Arabic language yet? We hope in the near future. Arabic is added to the application 💔💔💔 .

I had to stop using fitbit versa 2 because of that, and I don't think
there' s going to be an update in the near future , it's been going on for
years and no indication on whether they are able to add the arabic or not.
so I'm using Galaxy Active 2.
