Hi @DjB88, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to add support for Arabic language. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.

This problem is one of the biggest issues that was supposed to be solved
many years ago, and you still put it on a list of considerations, don't you
think there' s a priority when updating software, or fixing major issues in
the software development field.

Hi @a_ansi. Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about supporting Arabic language for the Fitbit Versa series. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. While this isn't currently planned at this moment, we have left voting open so we can keep tracking this request over time. Arabic language is needed for Arabian Users

I have used the active 2, fossil, and Apple Watch and they support arabic notifications. adding a language compatibility is not that hard. I just bought a 300 pound fitness tracker (Fitbit sense) which makes it similar in price to the top tier smartwatches and it does not have this simple option.

Dear Fitbit,

I have been a fitbit user for 4 years now and moved from the Charge 2 to Versa then to the Sense which I should be getting in the coming two days. I tried multiple times to vote on adding the Arabic language during these 4 years with no use. Moving this to just being "Under Consideration" when you have now fully committed to the Middle East region is not enough. As mentioned by numerous users, this is a huge gap/deal breaker for users and prevents you from getting a much larger share of the market. All of your direct competitors already support Arabic. Please include this in the upcoming Fitbot OS update

Regards,

Alawi

I don’t know how this works, but please in addition to adding a comments, do vote as well by clicking on the thumbs up icon. I’m saying this because I think that  people may not be aware of the vote feature on this community, and that’s probably why Fitbit does not consider supporting Arabic notifications is a high priority.

I brought the new Fitbit sense and I was aiming to make fitbit as my main smartwatch fitness tracker....I was really disappointed that the issue is not resolved till now.....I used the watch for 5 days and now I throw it away....what a waste of money.

After all this time waiting for just an update to add Arabic support now I’m sure that Fitbit don’t care at all about Arabic customers .
I’m never baying from Fitbit a gain .

my very simple question, why Fitbit Alta HR support Arabic while Versa 3 the most newest watch is not supporting. what the point to sell a watch in the middle east without supporting their language. very disappointing and I hope Fitbit will solve the problem as soon as possible

Vote for Arabic support please. This thread is 2 years old and Arabic is not yet supported!
I bought the new Sense today and I think I'll have to return it. I wasn't aware that this watch is not supporting Arabic until now.

I bought Fitbit Versa 2 recently and was shocked to find that it does not support Arabic!
after coming to this Forum and knowing that this has been suggested 2 years ago and still Fitbit has not made it, it is disappointing

it it should not be that hard, you are not inventing a new thing, many watches support Arabic language notifications,
they are just simple Unicode files that is to be added

until that happens, I am not going to recommend Fitbit to any of my Friends

I have been a huge fan of Fitbit for many many years

it’s very popular here in the Middle East

but the only thing that has always been missing is Arabic language support for notifications because the majority of the population here do speak English but not all

it would make the device perfect for this region if it would actually support the language spoken here
