Audible alarms and notifications on Sense series, Versa 3 and Versa 4

Now that both devices have a speaker and they can be used for phone calls, it would be nice to have a ringtone or a beep sound for the alarm.

Hi,

I received the FitBit Sense as a gift from my mom.  I had the option to upgrade to an Apple Watch with all the bells and whistles.  However, after doing extensive research, I am very satisfied with the FitBit Sense and its functions, the detailed tracking features, and the stainless steel backing, the quick charge and long battery life, etc.

The reason I am posting this evening is I would like to see the timer and alarm upgrade where I can actually hear the sound of alarms or beeps.  The FitBit Sense already has a speaker on it. 

I would like to see a software update where it gives you the option to hear an alarm for the timer and alarms.

This would be super beneficial to me and possibly to many other users!

I truly like my FitBit Sense!   And for the price and what it offers, it's unbeatable!

Yes need audible alarm. Sense alarm much weaker than Versa. Nothing to do with band tightness. Sense desn’t wake me up!

I am seriously thinking of selling my Fitbit Sense due to the poor alarm sound...only vibrate!! Previous watch was Honor magic 2 - far superior - vibrate and sound. I am a full time carer..need to wake at the right time!!

Come on Fitbit (or should we say 'Google')...please use the speaker and allow sounds for alarms

So many people want an alarm with sound. I do not understand why FitBit does not send a software update to Versa and sense users.

Have an option where you can set a ringtone for alarms and use the built-in speaker for this. By using the speaker for alarms it would be very useful to wake up. Fitbit could make its own ringtones or add the option to download your own ringtones.

Since first posting this request I seen lots of people agreeing with me
that it's an important feature to have (and given that the Sense already

I am in total agreement. This feature I thought was available or I may have not even considered Fitbit since such a basic feature would be available on Fitbit's flagship watch. PLEASE ENABLE THIS FEATURE!!!!!!!

When I shopped for my Fitbit charge 5 and saw there were 8 alarms and was really happy about that. I just thought they were audible, beep, or ring alarms, like any other watch on the face of the earth... Why is it not already on the watch? Then I discovered the fact that it can only buzz. I completely hate the buzzer, I feel like it's giving me a shock. Cell phones do that already, I have enough of these vibrations. Can you please have a beep or a bell sound to the watch for alarms and or notifications? Ideally, something that would totally replace the vibration, where we can choose if we want to sound or vibration for any given activity in the app or something?

Now, I cant use the AMAZING 8 alarm feature without being buzzed all the time.

Yes, it would be a definite necessity to include a sound notification. Right now the vibration is very weak and short. Very surprised that Fitbit doesn’t, see this necessity

I think so too that on my Charge 5 there should be an audible alarm. It's been more than 30 years since it's on any device. The buzzer for me on the tracker is bugging me and much rather have an audible sound or bip! That's got to be simple enough. I tried to set the challenges super high and set the dnd, but I still get buzzed here and here. This can affect your nervous system if you get it too often and want to use the tracker for stress management and mindfulness. Not convenient. Now I can't even use the 8 alarms feature I was happy to get with my new charge 5!

Audible sounds could include, sound waves, bells, rings, birds sounds, you name it, it's 2022 we are there..!;)) You can have a sound for relaxing nap or waking up in the morning or high drive race.

Re audio alarms, beeps and putting "my music/audio" on the Sense, is there a technical reason behind why this is not happening, no-one seems to even respond, apart from the "your comments are important to us" blurb.

The product is good, lets make it better.

Yess please add this option, my hubby likes to workout with me & it would help if he could hear the beep rather than me having to tell him times up. & just in general an audio beep would be helpful for all of us.
