Audible alarms and notifications on Sense series, Versa 3 and Versa 4

Now that both devices have a speaker and they can be used for phone calls, it would be nice to have a ringtone or a beep sound for the alarm.

Can someone advise how /where to raise this on social media as suggested? I'd like as many people as possible to group together to show how creado fitbit is about so many issues not just this one. Many thanks.

Hi @festivali, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about customizing low battery level alert and add sound notifications. I've moved it into a similar request. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

Thank you again for your participation in the Feature Suggestions Forums.

I'm surprised this isn't already a feature. I would use this feature every day!

In addition, I'd love to be able to receive a optional sound notification if my phone is out of range (forgotten). I get a visual notification that only shows up when I wake my watch up.

Audible alarm a must have for the Fitbit sense

Agreed! It's a basic feature that most other smart watches have and it really holds the Fitbit back imo. I recently switched from the Samsung to the Fitbit and the alarms are really disappointing to me. As someone with adult ADHD, I rely on alarms for a lot more than just waking up. Without sound, I find it hard to distinguish one alert from another. When the alarm actually works (it often doesnt without a watch reset - also needs fixing please), that reminder to go to an appointment or take a tablet could just be some health or social app I'd ignore if I was busy. Please make use of that speaker and add a sound option to alarms/alerts!

Fitbit DOES NOT GIVE TWO **ahem**S ABOUT YOUR REQUEST OR COMMENTS. I have learned this the hard way. This could be a simple update since there is a speaker. But they could not be bothered to correct the issue.

Fitbit, read S**tbit, too happy suckering people to part with hard earned cash, then no support apart from stock canned answers. I feel sad complaining as my wife bought mine as a gift, but honestly, a cheap "knock off" would do, at least no support is expected.

Welcome to the growing community off pissed off purchasers of a FitBit dumb watch. Since buying this, we have all learned that ShXtBit is just that and they have no care in what any of their purchasers think of their products.

Soooooo...... Is Fitbit ever going to respond to this thread ,Or just keep ignoring all of us like our opinion doesn't matter!?!?! Not very good business practices. Feel like they are chasing a big chunk of their customers away to other brands 🤷

Owned by Google? Do they give a **ahem**? They have our money, so why bother? Customer satisfaction and service these days seems non existent.

This is the most frustrating thing about this issue. The way Fitbit does
not seem to care for a simple solution. May be they don't read all these
posts.

there are so many people on this post about audible alarms. And FitBit never responds to any of them except for a canned message. Clearly they don't look at the number of posts or even care about consumer relations. This is such a sad state for people that plunked down up to $230 to find no support or concern about what we think about their product.

I'm trying to find my Fitbit somewhere in the flat, alarm would be very helpful!!!

The Google assistant on your phone should be able to locate it.

So the OP suggestion was made 2 YEARS AGO, is that really how long "a lot of users" who have expressed "a lot of interest" (moderator's words, not mine) in a basic feature that we expected to come as standard should expect to wait for a development on this?! If a mod reads this, could we please have an update on where this is at currently? Is it still being considered, or has anything changed in the past 2 years? Are we waiting for more interest/more buyers to become disillusioned with the product first? I can't imagine any of us purchasing or recommending another Fitbit after this if a key smartwatch feature like notifications and alarms (or customer service response) will continue to be this useless. TIA.

Really a no brainer. My casino watch was doing it 30 years ago... please implement!!

As had been said before, this is a no brainer.   The vibration option can't be felt at certain orientations of my arm work.  Please fix this glaring over-site.

Only signed into this forum to ask WHY this hasn't been implemented yet. Its 2022. Your customers have been asking since 2020. Come on! Bought this FitBit as heard it had alarm settings and speaker to take calls, *foolishly* didn't prepare for a silent alarm clock. 🤨

If you can make it do calls, you can **ahem** well make it beep/ chime etc for an alarm.

I never feel the vibration. Without sounds, alarms and timers are useless. If you don’t add sound, just take the alarms and timers off the device.

I 100% endorse this. I was shocked to find that the alarm and timer only vibrate and don't make a noise.

I often miss the movement reminder because the vibration isn’t always enough to catch my attention. I would love to have an audible reminder as well.

Highly disappointed in Fitbit's lack of support. I'm considering reaching out to PMs at Fitbit to request this feature. Seriously at least the Fitbit team should give an update. Wish this was open source and then we could have added the feature ourselves
