Automatically lock Wallet app / Fitbit Devices seconds after using Fitbit Pay

I currently have the Versa 3 and I have noticed after the unlock of the wallet app, it continues to stay unlocked and ready for payment for hours afterwards

If this is true this is insanely insecure. Please fix.

I contacted customer support asking if this was an option and I was told to
contact the community page to suggest helpful suggestions, I have had mine
unlocked for the entire time between the Fitbit versa 3 "saftey locks"

This is also true on the Charge 4.  It appears that it may re-lock when a transaction actually happens.  But if you unlock and then don't complete a transaction, it remains unlocked for quite a long time (an hour at least).    Since this is also the way to get to the "quick menu" on the Charge 4, one can accidentally trigger this just trying to enable DND/Sleep/Screen Wake.

Also, on the Charge 4, it asks for the unlock code and starts on the FitPay screen, requiring one to scroll right to get to the "quick menu".  It would make more sense to display the "quick menu" first, and if the user scrolls to the FitPay screen, THEN ask for the pin to unlock it.  Otherwise one has to enter a pin to use the "quick menu", making it far less quick...

From a different thread for the Versa (I have a Charge 5) it seems that you can re-lock the PIN by removing the device so that it can't sense a pulse. I just tried it and it works for my Charge 5 too. I guess this is to lock it in the event it is stolen. But that is a clumsy way to re-lock it if you don't want to keep it unlocked. A commenter on that thread said that supposedly it is only accessible to pay when the wallet/card screen is open, but another user said hers could still pay when home screen was showing. She had a side button on the Versa which also re-locked it (hold for three seconds) but that didn't work for me on the Charge 5.

I would vote for either an optional timeout OR a swipe/button function from the wallet/card screen to re-lock manually. I can see why repeatedly entering a PIN would be annoying if you were attending multiple outlets at a market or something, so a compulsory timeout might not be for everyone. But I have just enabled Wallet and it didn't occur to me that this would be an issue, so annoyingly, I will be removing my device to stop the pulse detection after every transaction. If this isn't fixed soon, though, I will probably remove my card from the wallet entirely.
