Barcode scanner in food tracking

Please add a scanner to food tracker! I spend to much time looking up or adding foods! The lose it program has one and it's great! Quick and easy. I want to stray with Fitbit but tired of the hassle of tracking food. Wasting to much time trying to add foods.<br><br>Sincerely,<br>Roxie

I would agree that a barcode scan facility is essential to compete with other apps

I would also agree, I would like a scanner because not everything is loaded so I spend a lot of time manually adding foods. I end up not tracking food as much because it takes so long but it would be nice to use all in one app instead of using other apps plus this one.

Great news! Barcode scanning has been added to the iOS app as of version 2.3, released on June 25th 2014.

Is the scanner slated for Android? Jawbone UP has this feature already, and it works well.
