Body Battery (Heart Rate Variability, Stress, and Activity)

Please add a Body Battery feature like the one on Garmin. Just license it like they do. Measuring stress an energy levels is more important than Active Minutes if you ask me. Cool to get in shape for sure, but actually staying healthy is sooo awesome.

I use a Versa 3 with Premium (in California) and I don’t see this feature. (?). I don’t think it’s released everywhere (?).

This is only available on premium. Do you have to pay for the body battery on the Garmin? Once my sense is old enough to replace I am definitely not getting a Fitbit again. There is nothing that I feel makes it any better than any of the other fitness trackers out there.

I don't think Garmin charges for Body Battery. Fitbit sleep tracking is the best of all the wrist worn trackers, so that's what sets them apart. They also have many general health metrics.

If you are an athlete, Garmin may be a better choice.

I’m in California and have a Versa 3 with Premium. I started seeing the Readiness tile on the app today! Whee!
however, to get a score, it says it takes 4 more days. Very excited.

Dear fitbit, you'll notice one of the most raved about features (outside of fitness) with Garmin is their body battery. You have something not quite as good locked behind a $120/year subscription. This is a core part of health you shouldn't be hiding. As much as I like your app and a couple of your products, I'm going to swap to Garmin next year if you don't sort this out, make it better and available to all your users. Vivosmart 5 here I come 🙂

You are crazy if you believe that Garmin’s Body Battery or Fitbit’s Daily Readiness Score are a “core part of health”. They are not accurate enough for you to base your health off of. I have had both products and they are all BS. I hope you’re wildly disappointed when you switch to Garmin and realize it’s a toy and a watch, not a core part of your health.

Yes this is something I would really like. With premium I have the “readiness score” feature but it’s completely useless and should really be using better data like continuous HR and HRV instead of just zone minutes. I’ve had Fitbit since 2017 and I so regret getting this latest model instead of a garmin. It’s added features such as HRV and oxygen which is great but the way the data is displayed is unhelpful. I care about my HRV in the daytime a lot more than the night and it needs the ability to see how it changes in this time based on what we’re doing. It would be much more relevant for my health needs than the current readiness score. Body energy is about far more than how much you have worked out which seems to be the only thing that acruallt effects readiness score and it’s only designed to tell you how much to work out not more than that. In its current form it is a flawed and quite useless feature - and definitely would not be worth paying for just that.

I'm looking at Garmin for this reason

A Fitbit body battery would retain my custom

I sadly just left my Google Pixel Watch behind to have the Garmin Body Battery feature. I have ME/CFS and needed something to help keep an eye on pacing. I loved my Fitbit/Pixel but it's been 4 years since this OP was first posted and I can't wait anymore.
